Jen Psaki Rips 'MAGA Meltdown' Over Taylor Swift In Blistering Takedown: 'Are You All Okay?'

The MSNBC host called out conservatives for going out of their way to concoct conspiracies about Swift influencing the upcoming election instead of 'looking in the mirror.'

If you follow Taylor Swift, politics, or football you've likely heard that conservatives are really, really upset that Swift keeps having the audacity to *checks notes* attend her boyfriend's football games.

So much so, they're convinced it's some kind of devious plot on the part of evil, devilish liberals, for some reason.

Former White House Press Secretary and MSNBC host Jen Psaki is among those who can't help but screw up her face in conservatives' direction and be like, "really?"

She took them to task with a perfect takedown on a recent episode of her show, because of all the ridiculous conservative uproars, this has to be among the most absurd.

'Are you all okay?': MAGA meltdown over Taylor Swift says a lot about GOP youtu.be

Psaki took on the controversy on her MSNBC show Inside With Jen Psaki this week during a segment when she had some pointed advice for conservatives in a tizzy over a pop star attending a football game.

“Guys. I mean, are you all OK? Seriously. Take a walk. Shake it off, as she would say.”

The conservative anger over her attendance at Travis Kelce's games with the Kansas City Chiefs is of course rooted in Swift's occasional endorsement of Democratic politicians.

But one of the greatest criticisms of Swift is that, for as big as her queer fanbase is for instance, she hardly makes any political noise at all. Or as Psaki put it, "it's not like she’s some sort of rabid Democratic activist."

But for seemingly each moment Swift appears in the public consciousness lately, starting with her being named TIME's Person of the Year in 2023, conservatives have grown steadily more irate.

And now—as conservatives are wont to do nowadays—they've even turned their anti-Swift sentiments into ludicrous conspiracy theories that posit that Swift is a Democratic plant, a sort of psyop meant to indoctrinate people into voting for Democratic President Joe Biden in November.

Yes, that's right, the people who brought you conspiracy theories about "lizard people" and Hillary Clinton eating babies now think Taylor Swift is some kind of mind-controlling cyborg, or something. Whatever.

As Psaki put it, they're "making it weird," and on social media many people definitely agreed with her take on conservatives' bizarre brand of cry-babying.

Anyway, stay tuned for the inevitable conspiracy theory that arises after the Super Bowl that Taylor Swift is a witch who controls football games by selling her soul to Satan and also something about George Soros, probably. God help us.
