Bruce Rowley, Man Robs Bank to Win over T-Swift: What We Know

Last week, Bruce Rowley was arrested for robbing a bank and throwing a portion of the money he stole over Taylor Swift's fence, all in the hopes of winning the Blank Space singer over, according to police reports obtained by TMZ.

Rowley, 26, was arrested after police chased him all the way from Rhode Island to Connecticut, according to NBC Connecticut. Police told the outlet that Rhode Island State Police initially located Rowley's jeep on the I-95, but he refused to stop the car.

Connecticut state troopers used spike strips to stop Rowley's jeep in Mystic, Connecticut. After his arrest, Rowley admitted to the robbery.

NBC reports that he has been charged with robbery in the second degree and larceny in the fourth degree.

On April 6, the Ansonia Police Department issued a press release that identified the bank Rowley robbed as Webster Bank at Division Street in Ansonia, Connecticut.

Swift purchased her 11,000-square-foot Rhode Island mansion in 2013 for $17.75 million, according to Business Insider. The police report obtained by TMZ states that Rowley told authorities he had a crush on Taylor and that he hoped to donate some of the money he took to the Ansonia Police Department to "impress" her.

T-Swift's Crazy Fans

Taylor Swift has no shortage of crazy fans.

In November 2016, police arrested alleged stalker Frank Andrew Hoover after he followed the singer after a concert in Texas. According to TMZ, Hoover had been writing letters to Taylor and her family for months leading up to the arrest. The night of her show, he told police he was trailing Swift to get a photo with her and "possibly accompany Taylor wherever she goes."

NewsWeek reports that Hoover sent a number of alarming letters to Taylor's family prior to the arrest. One of the letters read, "Decided that we are going to end all the Swifts on one day because I can’t stand that virus shit your daughter spread."

MAGA Influencer Dragged After Claiming That Only 'Single Gay Males' Live In Cities

Will Chamberlain, a MAGA minion who works for a Republican-aligned legal group, claimed suburban living is where all the good families live, rather than cities.

While that notion has been around since redlining and "White flight," Chamberlain's "those people" aren't BIPOC. No, Chamberlain's claim revolved around something else that seems to often makes conservatives squirm—or, at least, closeted conservatives. He claimed cities are full of...gay men.
