Woman asks cute guy out on flight

TikToker @nataliebonbon went viral for 'shooting her shot' on a plane with a cute stranger in front of her—and then gave a heartwarming update after going on a date with him.

We never really know when opportunities are going to come knocking, whether it's a chance to try something new, to pursue a new job opportunity, or even to go out on an adorable first date.

TikToker @nataliebonbon was on a flight overseas and noticed a "cute guy" sitting in the window seat in the row in front of her.

The TikToker decided to "shoot her shot" when the plane prepared for landing by taking out a Southwest Airlines napkin and wrote on it:

"If you're single and interested, text me sometime!"

She then added a smiling face, her phone number, and her name.

In a TikTok video, she shared with her followers that she was shooting her shot and showed the napkin. The end of the video showed her covering her smiling, flushed face after the guy had immediately turned around to introduce himself.

And after the flight he even sent her a text message reciprocating her interest.

Also did this towards the end of the flight so it wasn’t awkward for a long time just incase 😅 #datingtok #catchingflights #singletok #flightsandfeelings #summer23

The video quickly went viral with more than three million people rooting for the potential couple.

Fortunately, Natalie had good news for her followers, as the guy not only was from San Diego just like she was, but he also texted her while on his trip, asking her for a first date.

He texted her:

"I'm free tomorrow and Monday night. Down for a date night? There's a couple fun places I've been wanting to check out."

Replying to @Becky Reynolds probably gonna give a full report monday 7-3! ☺️thanks for the support! Also hope this encourages some people!💕

After the date, Natalie shared a three-video update and smiled throughout the entire recording.

As it turned out, Natalie's date only lived about 20 minutes away from her. He offered to pick her up for the date, but, because they had only just met on the plane, Natalie decided the safest thing was to drive herself.

Thank you everyone. I hope this encourages more people to do the same💕

They met up and went out for Korean BBQ, which was a first for Natalie, and her date also adorably helped her learn how to use chopsticks properly. The pair went out for ice cream after and talked a lot, finding that they had a lot in common and many similar interests.

Sorry ran out of time part 3 is super short tho 💕thanks for the support ☺️

At the end of the date, he walked Natalie back to her car and opened the door for her.

TikTok was all abuzz with the date and complimented Natalie on how happy she seemed and the butterflies they could feel coming through the screen.

If we go out again i will tell him about the video. 😊we shall see.

Unfortunately, as adorable as the date was, the relationship probably wasn't going anywhere.

When asked for an update, Natalie said that her date had walked her out to her car and opened her door for her and then had said he would "text her later in the week," which generally means the opposite.

She was discouraged when he had not asked her to text him when she got home, and they had not spoken in the week since going out on their date.

Replying to @lexiememphis dating in SoCal is rough but life goes on 😌💕

As much as we want things to work out, not every relationship is destined to work. It still seems that Natalie came out on top, though.

She might not have a boyfriend, but she can rest knowing that she did a brave thing and got a fun date out of it, not to mention a lot of new TikTok followers.

Vance Tried To Make A Joke About Seeing 'Les Misérables' At The Kennedy Center—And It's Peak Cringe

Vice President JD Vance had people groaning after he made a bad joke about the production of Les Misérables he and his wife, Second Lady Usha Vance, attended at the Kennedy Center with President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump.

The musical, set in 19th century France, tells the story of Jean Valjean, an ex-convict who is released from prison for stealing a loaf of bread. The story touches on timeless themes such as justice and mercy—and also happens to be about people resisting an authoritarian takeover, which many find ironic given the Trump administration's response to protests in Los Angeles.

People Who Smashed Wedding Cake In Their Spouse's Face Reveal How Their Relationship Is Going Now

According to The Knot wedding resource magazine and website, smashing cake into the face of a spouse after tying the knot is a tradition tied to medieval England. To celebrate the marriage, the bride would toss a piece of piece of cake over her shoulder for good luck.

This evolved into newlyweds feeding a piece of cake to one another, then taking frosting or a small bit of cake and rubbing it gently onto each other's faces—usually the cheek or tip of the nose.
