Sean Hayes And Keegan-Michael Key Troll Conservatives With Epic 'Gay Nutcracker' Skit On 'Kimmel'

Actors Sean Hayes and Keegan-Michael Key appeared in a sketch on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' as the controversial holiday decorations to troll conservative media's outrage.

Jimmy Kimmel Live mocked conservatives fuming over the fake “War on Christmas” in a riotously hilarious skit featuring actor Sean Hayes as a "gay nutcracker" and comedian Keegan-Michael Key as a "Black disabled Santa."

Kimmel introduced the segment by commenting on how the "right-wing nuts" are griping about "a new made-up reason to be outraged" this Christmas: the hawking of "gay pride nutcracker" and a "Black Santa" in a wheelchair.

The late-night host showed conservative news channel commentators reporting on how Americans are being barraged with holiday-themed merchandise with an alleged LGBTQ+ agenda.

"They're going after the innocence of our children," said a commentator, while the Newsmax channel's Chrissy Clarkwhile whined:

"If you're a gay man and you have any semblance of taste, you do not have a gay pride nutcracker in your house, okay?"
"Let's be honest."

In response to the outrage, Kimmel said:

“Obviously, they’re making a big deal out of nothing but I wanted to go to the source to find out how they see this."

He then introduced Hayes as a gay nutcracker “live from the holiday aisle at Kohl’s," which you can see here.

Kimmel asked Hayes if gay nutcrackers were bothered by what conservative media pundits were saying about them.

In response, Hayes, decked out in a fabulously sparkled nutcracker suit twirled his white tuft of hair and replied:

"I mean, not really. I'd say we're more confused than anything."

He continued:

“I mean first off, ‘gay nutcracker’ is redundant. All nutcrackers are gay."
“We’re a bunch of fit older men with perfect posture wearing bedazzled uniforms and knee-high boots."
"Open your eyes, you dink!”

He then disclosed that "pretty much every Christmas character is gay" including Joseph, and quipped:

"Why do you think they needed an immaculate conception?"

Keegan-Michael Key, in full Santa gear and sitting in a wheelchair, later joined Hayes as his boyfriend.

When Kimmel asked Key how he ended up in a wheelchair, Key replied:

“I fought in the War on Christmas."

To which Hayes commented:

"I love a man in uniform."

Social media users were tickled by the clip.

The pair were later joined by their friends, "gender-swapped Jesus and three wise thems."

The clip ended with Kimmel wishing them a happy holiday and adding:

“I think Fox just got 12 more nights of programming out of this."

In November, Fox host Jesse Watters pitched a fit over Target selling a nutcracker holding a Pride flag and a Black Santa Claus in a wheelchair.

“This guy’s one thing,” said Watters while holding up the Black Santa figure, adding, “but the gay nutcracker, I mean, this-this appeals to children, the Christmas spirit.”

Hope we all make it through this year's war on Christmas!
