The world was shocked on January 26 by the tragic news of basketball player Kobe Bryant's death.
The Sunday morning helicopter crash also took the lives of his daughter Gianna and 7 other people.
The sports world has been rocked by the loss, with many giving touching tributes to Bryant, who's recognized as one of the best basketball players of all time.
One of the most touching messages, however, was delivered by Elle Duncan of ESPN.

Many who already loved Kobe were inspired by this lesser-known side of him.
Many other "girl dads' also sounded off, expressing love for their daughters.
#GirlDad began trending on Twitter!
Bryant, who was only 41 at the time of his death, will be remembered not only for his basketball prowess, but for his commitment to family.
Rest in peace to Kobe Bryant, one of the proudest girl dads around.
