Most of us don't get very many opportunities in our day to feel truly powerful.

Most of us aren't in positions of authority and there's nothing like being in a position of authority to realize how powerless that authority often is. Moments where one person feels truly powerful are often moments where someone else is left feeling powerless; maybe that's why some people seem to shrink away from it.

But every now and then life does you a solid and gives you a little mundane power bump moment where nobody is having an emergency, nobody is in trouble, nobody has been disempowered - you're just awesomely powerful.

You might properly fold a fitted sheet. You might get a toddler to eat something other than chicken nuggies. You might be the one person someone's super grumpy old cat actually likes.

You might get to look a police officer in the eye and sternly say "I'm gonna need to see some ID."

TikTok user Andrew Bilinsky did. He's been sharing that ultimate power trip with other users, and honestly people are into it.

See, here's the thing - Bilinsky isn't out here harassing officers or anything. He's just doing his job as a gas station employee.

It's a pretty standard part of his day to ask customers for their ID. Sometimes that customer is a police officer - and that's when Andrew leans into the role reversal and has a little fun.

Love his "Cop Voice"

TikTok is enjoying this just as much as Andrew does. Apparently it's one of those "job perks" that should be advertised more.

Hillary Clinton Just Threw Some Epic Shade At Trump Over His Push To Print $250 Bills Featuring His Portrait

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton mocked President Donald Trump following a report he approved a proposed design featuring his portrait on a new $250 bill bearing his signature, despite longstanding federal law barring living people from appearing on U.S. currency.

According to four current and former Treasury Department employees who spoke to the Post anonymously out of fear of retaliation, two political appointees at the department—U.S. Treasurer Brandon Beach and senior adviser Mike Brown—repeatedly pressed Bureau of Engraving and Printing staff beginning last year to develop prototype designs for the bill.
