Jasmine Crockett Posts Mock Apology To MAGA After Identifying An 'Immigrant Taking People's Jobs'

Rep. Jasmine Crockett mocked both MAGA and Elon Musk with a series of posts about an "immigrant" who actually is "taking people's jobs."

Texas Democratic Representative Jasmine Crockett criticized MAGA followers and billionaire Elon Musk with a mock apology to them after identifying an "immigrant" who actually is "taking people's jobs."

President Donald Trump has repeatedly asserted that immigrants are taking jobs from American workers, at times even claiming that over 100% of new jobs are going to them. But he hasn't had much, if anything, to say about Musk gutting federal agencies via his DOGE initiative despite not being an elected official—and a foreign-born unelected official at that.

In fact, according to a White House record, Musk's job title is listed as "unlisted." When Trump established DOGE through an executive order, he integrated it into the White House by transforming the U.S. Digital Service into the U.S. DOGE Service. The order specified that an "administrator" would lead DOGE but did not indicate who held the position.

Earlier this month, a White House spokesperson stated that Musk holds the title of an unpaid special government employee, a designation that exempts him from the standard ethics and conflict-of-interest regulations applicable to federal workers.

And in came Crockett with this cutting joke:

"There’s an immigrant taking people’s jobs… his name is Elon Musk."
"He’s snatching farms, government jobs (even those in which they manage our national security), and definitely those whose jobs are to root out fraud (inspector generals), & those that are keeping us safe (FAA), meals on wheels workers, head start, and the list goes on, so I’ll be the bigger person and admit to MAGA that I was wrong when I said immigrants wouldn’t take our jobs."
"You were 1000 percent correct."

You can see what she wrote below.

People appreciated the mock "apology"—and joined Crockett in criticizing Musk.

Yes yes, we all knew this would happen. This is what Trump supporters voted for. We have to live with their stupidity. You will have no sympathy from me and mine. We prepared, you followed a corrupt evil man. Pull up your bootstraps, Republicans! You will get nothing from us.

God do we need more of our Reps. to show the gumption and courage you have. You are an American hero in the making. Thank you for what you are doing.

And this clown will not stop until he turns America upside down! This is a game for him, but it holds real consequences for the average American!

And maga Republicans (all of them now) don't care about democracy, Rule of Law, or how this will hurt ALL of us. Shame on them.

It's funny how much Republicans like immigrants when they're rich and white

It’s time to view Elon Musk as the domestic terrorist that he is. His government contracts give him control of information, weapon systems, etc. He has no intent on reforming the government. He’s destroying it. He’s un American, remember? #usarmyveteranretired

The White House denies that Musk is actually in charge of DOGE.

According to a White House court filing on Monday, when Elon Musk refers to actions taken by the Department of Government Efficiency as "we," he is not officially involved as an employee or leader of the initiative.

In a declaration from Joshua Fisher, director of the Office of Administration, Musk is described as a "Senior Advisor to the President" in his role as a special government employee. However, he is not an employee of the separate U.S. DOGE Service (USDS) or the U.S. DOGE Service Temporary Organization, which is responsible for improving government technology and reducing spending or staffing.

The filing also states that Musk is not the USDS administrator overseeing the DOGE initiative but does not specify who currently holds that position.

This revelation emerges as part of a lawsuit filed by Democratic attorneys general from multiple states, who argue that Musk’s ambiguous role in the administration is unlawful and violates the separation of powers outlined in the U.S. Constitution. They claim that Trump has "delegated virtually unchecked authority to Mr. Musk without proper legal authorization from Congress."

Trump Dragged After Making Ridiculous Claim About Randomly Finding Billions On The 'Tariff Shelf'

President Donald Trump was criticized after he claimed to reporters this week that officials in his administration suddenly found $30 billion they "never knew existed"—located on what Trump referred to as the "tariff shelf."

Tariffs are a tax on imported goods, usually calculated as a percentage of the purchase price. While tariffs can shield domestic manufacturers by making foreign products more expensive, they are also used as a tool to penalize countries engaged in unfair trade practices, such as government subsidies or dumping goods below market value.

Bride's Friends Surprise Her With Montage Video Of All Her Exes At Bachelorette Party—And People Are Mortified

While Jenny Han's novel To All the Boys I've Loved Before was a major hit, and even became a great film success in 2018, not everyone's married to the idea of reconnecting with their exes after the relationships end.

It might be nice to imagine staying friends after the relationships, imagining our exes missing us or regretting losing us, or even giving us an apology for the things they did wrong. But most of us pine for this for a little while, realize it's all a fairy tale, and push past it to better things and new love.
