Anderson Cooper Totally Loses It After Ralph Fiennes Reenacts That Viral 'Demure' Video

CNN's Anderson Cooper could barely hold it together alongside Andy Cohen on CNN's New Year's Eve show as actor Ralph Fiennes did a dramatic reenactment of the "very demure, very mindful" video that took TikTok by storm.

Cohen asked:

“I showed you the video yesterday. Can you perform this for us?”

Fiennes agreed to “try” to give his version of it with a monologue, reciting the following very calmly:

“Well look, this is how I do my makeup for work. Very demure, very mindful. I don’t come to work with a green cut crease. I don’t look like a clown when I go to work. I don’t do too much. I’m mindful at work."
"See how I look very presentable? The way I came to the interview is the way I go to the job. A lot of you girls go to the interview looking like Marge Simpson, looking like you are going to look like Patty and Selma."
"Not demure. Not demure. But, I am very modest.”
"See my shirt? ... Be mindful of why they hired you. Here’s a reality check, diva. What’s the name you want me to make it out to?”

As Fiennes delivered his monologue, Cooper laughed so hard he nearly fell over. Cohen turned to him and asked, “Did you like that, Anderson?” to which Cooper replied:

“I liked that very much.”

Fiennes made his appearance on the New Year’s special while promoting his film Conclave, a project generating significant awards buzz. He is widely expected to earn a nomination for Best Actor at this year’s Academy Awards.

Conclave is also considered a strong contender for Best Picture. For Fiennes, the potential nomination would mark his third, following nods for Schindler’s List and The English Patient. He remains a frontrunner for the coveted prize but faces tough competition from Adrien Brody, praised for his performance in The Brutalist.

JD Vance Slammed After Baselessly Claiming Woman Killed By ICE In Minneapolis Was A 'Deranged Leftist'

Vice President JD Vance was criticized after he claimed without evidence that Renee Nicole Good—the woman fatally shot by an ICE agent in Minneapolis on Wednesday—was a "deranged leftist."

Department of Homeland Security (DHS) spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin claimed Good “weaponized her vehicle, attempting to run over our law enforcement officers in an attempt to kill them.” But Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey pushed back against this narrative considering witnesses described seeing Good in the vehicle trying to flee officers when she was shot.
