The soon-to-be father of 12 is refuting a report he spends $3 million on child support payments each year.

Actor and musician Nick Cannon recently announced the birth of his eleventh child—Beautiful Zeppelin Cannon—with DJ and radio personality Abby De La Rosa.

Cannon is currently in an open, polyamorous relationship with De La Rosa, as well as photographer LaNisha Cole, model Alyssa Scott and "Selling Sunset" model Bre Tiesi. He also co-parents with his ex-wife Mariah Carey and former partner model Brittany Bell.

In addition to the birth of Beautiful Zeppelin on November 11, 2022, Cannon also announced he and Scott are expecting their third child, Cannon's twelfth, in early 2023.

On November 11, Cannon wrote on Instagram:

"11/11/2022. A BEAUTIFUL DAY for 'BEAUTIFUL ZEPPELIN CANNON'to arrive!"
"Mommy [Abby De La Rosa], I love you! You make it ALL look so easy and effortless, but I am forever indebted to your tireless work of constant dedication, diligent effort, and selfless love that you give to our children and myself."
"Beautiful is privileged to have such a loving and spiritually inclined Mother. Your resilience and strength don’t go unnoticed. Watching you smile through the world’s madness and my constant craziness is so impressive. Not a day goes by that I am not filled with gratitude for all your care, words of affirmation, kindness, and inspiration."
"Thank you!! If I don’t say it enough! You are the definition of steadfast and virtuous, and it is my continued duty to make you and our children feel valued and protected every single day!"
"BEAUTIFUL ZEPPELIN, aka BZC, aka BIZZY B! Get ready because the world is yours! Daddy loves you!!"

After sharing the birth of Beautiful Zeppelin—BZC for short, Cannon was met with jokes.

But the conversation intensified after The Sun released a report stating Cannon pays approximately three million dollars per year in child support to his growing family.

Cannon later refuted the story, stating he pays much more than three million dollars in addition to regular expenses.

"I definitely spend a lot more than that on my children annually."
"I don't plan to ever have to participate in the governmental system of child support."

A few could not imagine how money would provide for Cannon's children the way they needed.

Others were also confused by Cannon's avoidance of governmental child support.

Though Instagram was less than joyous over the news of Cannon's latest child, Cannon and his partners seemed happy with their arrangements.

Bre Tiesi, who had a child with Cannon in June 2022, described their relationship as whatever they needed it to be:

"It's [our relationship's] not necessarily anything. This is just us, this is our relationship, and what you do outside of that is what you do outside of that. Everything is respectful, and everything is honest. We don't really define it."

As long as his partners and his children are happy, it sounds like Cannon is set up to have the big family some people can only dream of.
