"What's the biggest plot hole in history?" –– This was today's burning question from Redditor itsaspecialworld, who reminded us that some things about our world just don't seem to make any sense.

From the creation of the universe to eclipses, there's plenty of reason to wonder how the hell certain things actually happened.

"The creation..."

The creation of the universe. I mean seriously, that just came completely out of nowhere.

nomad_1970

"Humans surviving..."

Humans surviving for any length of time given the bizarre duration for which our children are completely defenseless. Obvious BS.

mindfeces

"It's too...

Eclipses.

It's too contrived that the Moon is exactly the right size and distance away to completely cover the Sun from where we look at it on Earth.

CLint_FLicker

"Not so much..."

Not so much a plot hole but a plot point left open for future episodes. All life is carbon based, you can just as readily call it plain old life but we don't. Carbon based implies there's life other than carbon based life that we'll eventually be introduced to.

Mammoth_Statement

"A lot of books..."

The Cognitive Revolution.

How? When? What? Why?

A lot of books did try to answer the questions, but I'm not entirely sure why humans of all creatures got such great thinking boxes.

katsurap_yo

"The crazy part..."

Dark matter.

The crazy part is their likely to fill in the rest of the story later. They usually do.

MojoZ

"Atilla plundering..."

Atilla not plundering Rome because it was needed in a later season. They handled it off-screen by having him talk to some bishop in a tent but it's pretty bad writing if you ask me.

minveertig

"The writers..."

The bronze age collapse. The writers just pulled these mysterious sea people out of their asses, they destroy everything and then we never hear from them again. Sloppy writing that is.

Beer_Doctor

"Like how??"

Humans become the dominant intelligent species. Like how?? It takes months for a newborn to walk and do sht and somehow we run the whole earth?

jungkookhyung

"Everyone is walking..."

Everyone is walking around with devices that can access the whole of human knowledge and so many people are still dumb.

Gavin Newsom Claps Back Hard After Trump Tries To Insult His 'Cognitive Deficiency' At Kentucky Rally

California Governor Gavin Newsom hit back at President Donald Trump after Trump claimed at his Kentucky rally on Wednesday that Newsom isn't fit for the presidency because he has a "cognitive deficiency."

Newsom is widely seen as a viable Democratic contender for the 2028 election—and Trump couldn't resist taking a jab at the man who has made headlines numerous times in the last year for criticizing the Trump administration in a style not unlike the posts Trump publishes on Truth Social.
