A Fox News interview had many online seeing double. Twitter users were quick to compare the new look of former Congressman Trey Gowdy to that of American journalist Anderson Cooper.

Gowdy was the guest host of Fox News Primetime, a new show on the Fox News channel currently rotating hosts weekly. The former Congressman was interviewing Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina.

However, it wasn't the substance of the interview that had people doing a double take.

Rather it was the surprising way Gowdy in glasses appeared to be trying to emulate Anderson Cooper.

In the interview, Graham was insisting witnesses not be called during the impeachment trial of former President Donald Trump. Instead, he wanted the FBI to explain more about the possible pre-planning of the attacks.

But the clip caused many online to laugh at the new look of Trey Gowdy who hadn't often been seen in glasses before. Between the specs and the change in hairstyle, many wondered if he was going for a specific look as the host of Fox News Primetime.

Gowdy is the former representative of South Carolina's 4th district, from 2011 to 2019. During this time, Gowdy led the investigation on the House Benghazi Committee, to determine any possible wrongdoing by then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

With politics almost the exact opposite of the CNN journalist, Gowdy's similarity to Cooper had many taking jabs at the guest host.

Gowdy chose not to seek reelection in 2018, and instead pursued a legal career. In addition to the guest host position on Fox News Primetime, he's also a regular contributor to the network.

It is unknown how Anderson Cooper feels about the comparison, even if Gowdy was compared unfavorably. Cooper has a history of little patience with Fox News and their reporting.

Stephen Colbert Makes Somber Plea To Americans In Wake Of Charlie Kirk's Death

Late-night host Stephen Colbert had a somber message for Americans as he addressed the assassination of far-right activist Charlie Kirk, stressing that "political violence only leads to more political violence."

Kirk died after an unidentified gunman shot him in the neck as he—ironically enough—mocked victims of gun violence at an event in Utah Valley State University. Kirk's murder has galvanized the far-right, with President Donald Trump and his surrogates claiming without evidence that rhetoric from Democrats is responsible for Kirk's death.

Take, for instance, the new pleated pants available at Target from the Champion clothing line. While there's nothing wrong with pleated pants and they certainly have a suitable spot in the workplace, the latest rendition of Champion pleated pants are, shall we say, NSFW.

Woman Goes Viral After Revealing How Her Obsession With Matcha Landed Her In The Hospital

Let's be honest: Too much of anything isn't good for us. It's all about the balance!

But the media and social media trends have taught us that certain things are really good for us, encouraging us to be like the "very mindful and very demure" girls and take care of ourselves. One such example is drinking more matcha, especially if you really like coffee or think you have a caffeine addiction.
