The rapper thanked a fan who randomly tipped him $0.20 during a livestream on kick.com, assuring the fan that the money will 'go to a good cause.'

It turns out it doesn't cost an exorbitant amount of money to get a shoutout from your favorite artist.

When it comes to supporting a good cause or expressing appreciation for influencers or high-profile individuals who produce good work, no donation is too great or too small.

At least that is often a tagline kicked around to encourage people to give, regardless of the amount.

Rapper Drake was certainly appreciative of one fan who gave him a 20-cent tip during a livestream.

The Canadian rapper, who is among one of the world's best-selling music artists and certainly doesn't need extra cash, was hosting a kick.com livestream on December 17 when he noticed an alert indicating he received a tip.

Without hesitation, Drake expressed gratitude, saying:

"Thank you for the 20-cent tip, [donator’s username], appreciate that."

He added:

"That’ll go to a good cause.”

Fans were amused by the tip's random amount.

Drake gained prominence as an actor, starring in "Degrassi: The Next Generation" before successfully crossing over into music in 2006 with his mixtape Room for Improvement.

His albums have topped the US Billboard 200 and Canadian Albums Charts, and he is the recipient of five Grammy Awards, six American Music Awards, a record 34 Billboard Music Awards, two Brit Awards, and three Juno Awards.

In addition to his music career, the "Rich Baby Daddy" rapper's other ventures include founding the OVO Sound record label, becoming the "global ambassador" of the Canadian pro basketball team, Toronto Raptors, and collaborating with Brent Hocking on the bourbon whiskey Virginia Black.

Drake's estimated net worth is $270 million, and his annual salary is reportedly $70 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

AOC Saves The Day By Giving Bronx Middle School Group A Tour Of The Capitol Amid Shutdown

New York Democratic Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez had people cheering after she stepped in to act as tour guide after a group of middle schoolers from the Bronx pulled up to the Capitol hours after the U.S. government officially shut down.

The federal government shut down early Wednesday after the White House and Congress failed to reach an agreement on federal spending. While Senate Democrats are in the minority, they hold enough seats to filibuster and are insisting that Republicans agree to extend federal subsidies for people insured under the Affordable Care Act.

GOP Lawmaker Sparks Outrage After Calling For Dem Rep. To Be Executed For Urging People To Protest Trump

On Wednesday, September 25, an Arizona MAGA Republican state Representative publicly called for the execution of Washington Democratic Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal because she urged anyone displeased with MAGA Republican President Donald Trump's job performance to exercise their First Amendment right to free speech and to protest.

Apparently, urging citizens to make their voices heard was a step too far for Arizona state GOP Representative John Gillette, who responded to a clip edited out of a longer video by right-wing account The Patriot Oasis (TPO). A quick scan through Gillette's X account media posts will reveal his political leanings.

Liberal TikToker Mortified After Discovering That Her Therapist Is Hardcore MAGA

There used to be a time where politics did not have to come into every room or be a part of every conversation. But in a world with President Trump and MAGA, it's not as simple as being Red, Blue, or Green anymore.

Now, the sociopolitical climate is dangerous for many people and still very stress-inducing for others. It's important to surround ourselves with people who make us feel safe and seen—and unfortunately, that might mean cutting out people who have "different beliefs" than we do.
