The 'Queen's Gambit' star revealed the news of her secret April Fools' Day wedding on Instagram, and even shared some photos and video from the 2022 event—including her anatomically-correct heart cakes.

Anya Taylor-Joy isn't available, guys.

On Monday, the award-winning Queen's Gambit star officially revealed she had secretly been married for two years, and it wasn't an April Fools' joke.

Taylor-Joy, 27, tied the knot with musician Malcolm McRae, 29, on April 1, 2022, in New Orleans. The couple held a second wedding in September 2023 at the Palazzo Pisani Moretta in Venice, Italy.

To commemorate their second wedding anniversary, she took to Instagram and shared a carousel of photos from the day of the nuptials.

She wrote:

"Two years ago, on April Fools, I secretly married my best friend in New Orleans."
"The magic of that day is ingrained in every cell of my being, forever."

"Happy second ( first ) anniversary my love…you’re the coolest🫀," she wrote, referring to their first ceremony in New Orleans.

Here is a photo of the happy couple under her white wedding veil with two other friends, one of whom was model and cat mom Cara Delevingne.

The human heart emoji that followed was a nod to the gory wedding cake that guests devoured at the reception.

She also referred to Anne Rice’s “Interview With the Vampire” novel, saying:

"N.B yes, those are anatomically correct heart cakes. Yes, I am the vampire Lestat."

The demonically-themed action role-playing video game Diablo humorously remarked they "prefer real hearts" but that the cake version was as good as devil's food.

It's worth mentioning that Taylor-Joy and McRae share the same birthday, which is April 16.

She was born in 1996 and he entered our world before her in 1994.

West Side Story actor Rachel Zegler acknowledged this in her congratulatory comment, writing:

"happy anniversary to hands down my favorite birthday twins to ever get married."

Dior designed Taylor-Joy's narrow-strapped beige wedding gown accented with gold sequins throughout.

The bodice of the tiered tulle skirt featured an embroidery of a hummingbird, which was seen in a video on the second slide of her post.

She was also spotted wearing the dress on a balcony in Venice last October.

The fashion house's Instagram account sent some love for the celebratory occasion.

They seem to have a good "pulse" on their marriage.

Taylor-Joy said of her matrimonial bliss in a 2022 interview with British Vogue:

“I said to my partner the other day that he was my hobby."
"He loved it because he’s the same. I’ve finally found someone who will happily sit in silence with me reading."
"We’re basically 80 years old and seven at the same time.”

Happy second anniversary to the happy couple!
