The model and actress took to Instagram to thank firefighters for saving her cats after initially believing they had perished when her L.A. home caught fire.

British model and actor Cara Delevingne is counting her blessings after discovering her cats survived a fire that burned down her home in Los Angeles.

Delevingne starred opposite Orlando Bloom in Amazon Prime's steampunk fantasy series, Carnival Row, and was featured in the second season of Hulu's Only Murders in the Building.

She is currently playing Sally Bowles in London's West End production of Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club.

On March 15, her home in Studio City was destroyed in a blaze that is under investigation, as the cause remains unknown.

The 31-year-old had already been in London at the time of the conflagration, which caused the roof of the home to collapse, presumably with her two cats inside.

When she discovered the horrific news from across the pond, Delevingne assumed the worst and wrote on her Instagram story:

“My heart is broken today... I cannot believe it. Life can change in the blink of an eye."
“So cherish what you have.”

But moments later, she had good news to share.

In fact, it was absolutely purrrfect.

Firefighters arrived at the scene and managed to rescue the frightened felines.

"They are alive!!" Delevingne confirmed in a text overlay in the next photo showing her two kitties.

She added, "Thank you to the firefighters," followed by a heart emoji.

More than 90 firefighters arrived at the scene to extinguish the flames that consumed the back of the 8,000-square-foot home, according to E! News.

The poor little things must've been terrified.

Animal lovers were emotional to see the adorable pets alive.

The Los Angeles Fire Department's website wrote in a post:

"Firefighters arrived to find a four-story building with fire showing from the second floor."
"It took 40 firefighters 21 minutes to extinguish the fire."
"After firefighters entered the structure to eliminate the remainder of the flames, crews ventilated the building to remove any lingering smoke and conducted a search for any victims."

The statement ended with:

“No reported injuries to civilians or firefighters. The cause of the fire is under investigation."

Page Six reported on speculation that the cause of the fire may have been electrical and that something could have fallen on nearby powerlines during windy conditions.

The LAFD told the media outlet there was “nothing to suggest that it was criminal activity.”

Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) also confirmed:

“There is no indication of an arson or criminal investigation right now.”

Delevingne can rest assured her cats are alive and safe as she continues performing at the Kit Kat Club through June 1.

It’s been nearly six years since Gwyneth Paltrow last suited up as Pepper Potts in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, yet according to Robert Downey Jr., she still struggles to tell certain Avengers apart.

Downey Jr. roasted his longtime co-star in spectacular fashion while presenting her with The Hollywood Reporter’s Sherry Lansing Leadership Award, a moment that played less like a formal tribute and more like Tony Stark gently ribbing Pepper for forgetting who Spider-Man is.

Gavin Newsom Just Hilariously Trolled President Trump's New 'Walk Of Fame' With A Brutal One Of His Own

California Governor Gavin Newsom mocked President Donald Trump by riffing off the presidential "Walk of Fame" Trump unveiled in the White House back in September, gifting us the "Presidential Walk of Fatigue" instead.

In September, Trump's assistant Margo Martin shared a video of a hallway filled with the portraits of former U.S. presidents. Martin announced that "The Presidential Walk of Fame has arrived on the West Wing Colonnade," and the video she shared pans over multiple portraits of former presidents before lingering on an image of Biden's autopen signature.

The OU Student Who Got A Zero On Her Bible-Based Essay Was Just Honored By Republicans—Because Of Course

Samantha Fulnecky, the University of Oklahoma student who received a zero on a psychology essay about gender after using the Bible as her only source, was honored by the Oklahoma House of Representatives with a special "Citation of Recognition" this week after her complaint—which resulted in a transgender graduate student being placed on administrative leave—made headlines.

Fulnecky's instructor Mel Curth, a transgender woman, assigned her students a 650-word essay about how gender stereotypes impact societal expectations of individuals. Fulnecky instead wrote about what the Bible says about "traditional gender roles," arguing that to refer to them as "stereotypes" is "demonic."

Prince Harry Just Took A Hilariously Brutal Jab At Trump During Surprise Appearance On 'Colbert'

Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, joined late-night host Stephen Colbert as a surprise for his opening monologue on Wednesday evening, and mocked President Donald Trump while he was at it.

Colbert was in the middle of ribbing the Hallmark channel and its string of royally-themed Christmas TV movies this year when he joked about how no one just "runs into a prince at their job." But then in walked Harry, who said he thought he was auditioning for a Christmas-themed Hallmark TV movie.
