Keanu Reeves is one of those celebrities the internet fell head over heels for.

Keanu's backstory is tragic and well-known, but penchant for simple acts of kindness may be even more widely celebrated.

He's been known to take public transportation rather than hire a private driver and he absolutely follows public transportation etiquette. Reeves gives up his seat to people who seem like they might need it.

He's patient and affectionate with fans, respectful of co-stars and actresses, quietly donates tons of money to charity, champions for the crews on his films and is overall thought of as "charmingly humble."

So yeah, internet is in love, but so are people who don't spend all day scrolling around on social media.

Good Guy Keanu is at it again—this time making an 80-year-old grandma's day.

Giphy

A Reddit thread asked for people to share stories of things a celebrity had done that completely changed how you viewed them. Lots of the stories were negative; celebrities being rude, mean to kids, saying awful things, etc...

But then there was this story about Keanu and a grandma who adores him.

It read:

"My grandmother had a crush on Keanu Reeves because he reminder her of my grandfather when he was young. Saw all his stuff, from Bill and Ted to the Matrix."
"She had a stroke in her early 70s and was pretty much housebound for the last 10 years of her life, so watching movies was her main hobby, and became almost like her friends to her because she so rarely got to see any of her own."
"Not too long after the Matrix came out my uncle was in LA for business and was eating at a really swanky restaurant when Keanu came in with a woman. When he finished his meal my uncle came up to their table and said:"
“'I don’t usually do this, but I just wanted you to know that my 80-year-old mother loves you and has seen all of your movies. You remind her of my dad'."
"He said Keanu asked if he had a cell phone on him and when he confirmed that he did, he said 'Give her a call, I want to talk to her'. He spoke with my grandmother for several minutes and it absolutely made her year."
"She was so isolated and his genuine kindness to her and interest in her showed what a truly amazing man he is."

If you just clutched your hands to your heart and internally swooned, welcome to Club Keanu!

You're among friends here. The comment got a ton of love on Reddit, but things really got going once the story hit Twitter.

People adore Good Guy Keanu.

Obviously the internet is falling even harder for Keanu after this story got out.

But what's not to love?
