TikToker @luvlyymadiii was devastated to learn she'd lost out on a massive scholarship to one of her top three colleges, Maryville College, because she forgot to open a letter from them—but then the college saw the video and made things right.

In a viral video, Madi—Tiktoker @luvlyymadiii—said she forgot to open a letter from Maryville College and missed out on a $104k scholarship.

Anyone who has ever been to college in America knows the struggle to afford paying for education.

Most students, including myself, depended on scholarships in order to be able to attend college at all.

Madi's video garnered over 600k likes.

As someone who depended on scholarships in college it really hurt my heart to hear she thought she missed out on such an amazing scholarship.

Maryville really turned a tragic story into a happy ending.

Far-right provocateur Ann Coulter is facing fierce criticism after she made a genocidal remark in a now-deleted post on X in response to University of Minnesota professor and Navajo Nation member Melanie Yazzie's speech about colonization.

Yazzie, in a speech at last year's annual Socialism Conference, said "decolonization is the only thing that is going to save us as a species" during a panel hosted by Red Nation, a Native American nonprofit that advocates for Palestinian and Native American rights. She also said that the United States is the "greatest predator empire that has ever existed" and said it should be dismantled.
