Chrissy Teigen and family recently brought home a hamster, and her hijinks have been entertaining all of Twitter ever since.

The hamster, whose name is Peanut Butter, took a little while to settle in as part of the family.

The day they brought Peanut Butter home, Chrissy tweeted:

"Luna and I bought a hamster today. Her name is peanut butter. John is not thrilled, which makes me love her more."

She has been developing her skills as an escape artist over the last few days.

Chrissy posted a slightly panicked tweet the first time Peanut Butter got out:

But Peanut Butter was found within a matter if hours.

Apparently there were people criticizing her choice of hamster enclosure, so she bought a better one.

It didn't arrive in time to thwart the next escape, though, as she got out again the very next day.

Unlike her previous escape, it was more than a couple of hours before Peanut Butter was located this time.

Chrissy resorted to using safe traps suggested by fans on Twitter.

There were some people who felt the need to criticize Chrissy's hamster rearing skills, and she was having none of it.

By the time night fell, Chrissy was ready. Operation Peanut Butter commenced.

It worked!

After Peanut Butter's adventure Chrissy wanted to reassure everyone that she was being properly cared for and thank everyone for their advice.

It seems like Peanut Butter is finally settling in and getting used to being part of the family.

Pets can be a source of chaos in our lives, but they also enrich them. Life just wouldn't be the same without our furry, feathered, and scaly friends.

Philly Woman Goes Viral With Her Totally Chill Reaction To Her Car Being Completely Frozen In Ice

While the Northeast battled winter weather, the internet was captivated by a Philly-based TikToker documenting how her car turned into what she jokingly described as a Snowmaggedon popsicle.

Last week, Tianna Graham shoveled out her 2016 Honda Civic and drove out after a snowstorm, took it to work, and parked it in the same spot she’d left it before: next to a water main. By the time she returned, her vehicle was completely encased in ice on the 1000 block of North Front Street in Philadelphia’s Fishtown neighborhood.

When a person becomes a parent, much more will change in their life than they anticipated.

But that transition can be especially hard when a person feels like they're losing themselves to their role as a mom or dad—and that feeling is made even worse when their partner hyper-fixates on their new role.
