Blogger Creates 'The Rock Test' to Stem Workplace Harassment

Blogger Creates 'The Rock Test' to Stem Workplace Harassment

There seems to be a never-ending supply of sexual harassment scandals in the news these days.

Whether it's Fox News personalities, Uber executives, or Harvey Weinstein, sexual harassment seems to be running rampant in the workplace.

So, Medium blogger Anne Victoria Clark devised a "life hack" to help men start "treating women like people" instead of just sex objects put on this planet for their pleasure. The blog, entitled "The Rock Test: A Hack for Men Who Don’t Want To Be Accused of Sexual Harassment," lays out a simple premise: "treat all women like you would treat Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson."

Sounds easy enough, right?

If you're still struggling with the concept, Clark helps out by offering some real world situations, like getting coffee with a female coworker, a one-on-one meeting, or a celebratory outing after work. Rather than focusing or commenting on your female colleagues' body, clothing, or lack of a wedding ring, just visualize them as The Rock, and maybe, just maybe, you'll be on your way to treating them like an impressive and formidable peer instead of a slab of meat.

The only potential downside to this test is if you happen to find The Rock to be just as sexually appealing as your female coworkers, and then you might be a lost cause.

Although, maybe not:

After hearing that he is now a test, The Rock gave his stamp of approval on Twitter:

Twitter seems to be on board with the test as well:

Some people even feel that The Rock Test can go both ways:

And there you have it. Another successful life hack in the books.

As Clark so eloquently states: "You’ve learned the quick and easy way to interact with women without behaving inappropriately. Simply offer them the same respect, admiration, and healthy dose of fear you’d offer anyone who could completely destroy you should you deserve it."

Please SHARE this with your friends and family.

Stephen Colbert Makes Somber Plea To Americans In Wake Of Charlie Kirk's Death

Late-night host Stephen Colbert had a somber message for Americans as he addressed the assassination of far-right activist Charlie Kirk, stressing that "political violence only leads to more political violence."

Kirk died after an unidentified gunman shot him in the neck as he—ironically enough—mocked victims of gun violence at an event in Utah Valley State University. Kirk's murder has galvanized the far-right, with President Donald Trump and his surrogates claiming without evidence that rhetoric from Democrats is responsible for Kirk's death.

TikToker Hilariously Calls Out Target After Champion Pants Feature Awkwardly-Placed Front Pleat

Sometimes you can just tell when something was designed *for* women, but was not actually designed *by* women.

Take, for instance, the new pleated pants available at Target from the Champion clothing line. While there's nothing wrong with pleated pants and they certainly have a suitable spot in the workplace, the latest rendition of Champion pleated pants are, shall we say, NSFW.

Woman Goes Viral After Revealing How Her Obsession With Matcha Landed Her In The Hospital

Let's be honest: Too much of anything isn't good for us. It's all about the balance!

But the media and social media trends have taught us that certain things are really good for us, encouraging us to be like the "very mindful and very demure" girls and take care of ourselves. One such example is drinking more matcha, especially if you really like coffee or think you have a caffeine addiction.
