TikToker @joolia_go0lia hilariously explained how her mom's attempt at throwing a Barbie-themed birthday party went awkwardly awry after she accidentally hired a stripper.

Anyone who had a birthday party as a kid likely can remember a mishap or two happening during the festivities. Maybe the birthday party clown was a little more creepy than silly, or maybe the family dog tipped over the entire dessert table while trying to get the first taste of the birthday cake.

But Julia of @joolia_go0lia on TikTok may have one the Awkward Birthday Moment prize when the guest Barbie who appeared at her fifth birthday party was less like a bright pink Disney princess... and something much less age-appropriate.

While getting ready to go see the much-anticipated film, the TikToker recalled her fifth birthday mishap, which had a shining adult dancer at its center.

Because Barbie wasn't a birthday party Barbie at all, but actually a stripper.

In the video, Julia explained that the performer was incredibly graceful and stayed at the birthday party.

"I followed her around all through the party, and the parents had a great laugh."

TikTok immediately found this story hilarious, with one pointing out that it sort of made sense.

After all, Barbie can be anything, including an adult entertainer.

Some thought this was wonderful and assumed it was likely the best party Barbie ever participated in.

But of course, the internet being what it has become, Julia's fellow TikTokers needed to see some proof.

In a follow-up video, Julia shared the unfortunate news that she didn't have news to present.

Instead, she had an adorable text exchange with her mother, who recalled that the party was when Julia was five or six years old.

She clearly confirmed that this mixup was something that had happened, but the photos she had taken more than likely were lost in the basement somewhere or had been damaged when the basement flooded.

I have made my mom so stressed tryingto look for these 😅 #barbie #comeonbarbieletsgoparty #barbieparty #barbiebirthday #momfail #momcomedy

At the end of the video, the TikToker put a call out to "Stripper Barbie" to respond if she saw the video.

While she would not have photos from the event, she could share her side of the story, and certainly let the internet know how she's doing now. Julia expects that the Barbie performer was likely in her 20s or 30s at the time of the party, which would put her in her 50s or 60s now.

Though Barbie may have been expecting to "go party," she at least got a memorable "birthday party" out of it instead.
