Actor Seth Rogen is a vocal critic of the Trump administration, and this was rarely more apparent than how he responded upon meeting Paul Ryan, the Speaker of the House.

Rogen told Stephen Colbert on Friday's The Late Show that he rebuffed Ryan, a Republican representative from Wisconsin, by denying him a selfie while attending a seminar on brain health organized by Mitt Romney.

Rogen recalled the moment Ryan met three teenage boys at the seminar who were fans and got a picture with the Superbad celebrity. He had no idea the fans he interacted with were Paul Ryan's sons.

They said, 'Our dad wants to meet you.' I turned around and Paul Ryan was walking towards me. My whole body puckered, as it were. I tensed up and didn't know what to do. He came over, just grabbed my hand and I'm shaking his hand.

Ryan also asked for a photo. But Rogen, who loathes the House Speaker, conscientiously struggled briefly before he emphatically denied the request.

He goes, 'Can I have a picture with you?' I look over and his kids are standing right there, expectantly, clearly fans of mine, and I said: 'No way, man!'

After Rogen refused the photo opp, he had some choice words for Ryan.

I couldn't stop, and I said: 'Furthermore, I hate what you're doing to the country at this moment and I count the days until you no longer have one iota of the power that you currently have.

The actor/comedian admitted he felt "very conflicted" about the rebuke, especially with Ryan's sons "still standing right there," but he hoped the boys had something to take away from the interaction.

It's not their fault, but at the same time they should probably learn that if they like a movie or song, the person who made that probably doesn't like their dad that much. Unless they're watching Roseanne reruns.

And Twitter raved over Rogen's epic dismissal.

Rogen attended the annual summit for brain health that invites people of all political beliefs united for one cause. He is the co-founder of Hillary for Charity, a non-profit organization which raises awareness for Alzheimer's disease.

When asked to elaborate on Mitt Romney, who headed the summit, Rogen told the Late Show host, "When you're talking to him, you realize the name Mitt is a weird name... it must be short for Mittens."

People Break Down The 'Silent Red Flags' Folks Tend To Ignore In Relationships

A red flag has come to mean any warning sign in life, in addition to the literal red flags that are placed on beaches or industrial sites to warn people of danger.

People will respond to situations by saying, "That’s a red flag." But before that language evolved, they'd just call them "warning signs."
