People on social media are calling out ESPN hockey analyst P.K. Subban after he made a random and terrible body-shaming dig at Lizzo on air.
The former professional ice hockey defensemen was reporting on the second-round Stanley Cup playoff game between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Florida Panthers.
Commenting on Toronto's 4-2 loss to Florida, Subban's co-host John Buccigross quipped that the Maple Leafs need to "pack a lunch" if they want to win their next game against Florida.
Subban then replied:
"Maybe they need to pack a Lizzo-sized lunch."

“@CaniacDaBaby I saw that too...shameful. ESPN has definitely changed.....sadly disappointed in them. Don't know if they've got different management but it's definitely gone down hill from what it used to be. He needs to apologize at the minimum, but they act like they're above it.”— DaCaniac (@DaCaniac) 1683079060

“Hey @espn, what exactly did PK Subban mean by saying the @MapleLeafs needed to “pack a @lizzo sized lunch”? Is that supposed to be provocative?
