WATCH: Paul Rudd Has Been Pranking Conan O'Brien for Years

Everybody loves Paul Rudd, right?

He's handsome, funny, lovable, and he seems like an all-around nice guy.

But Conan O'Brien might have a slightly different opinion of the actor, considering he's been on the receiving end of a prank from Rudd for over a decade now.

You see, Rudd is obsessed with a little-known, and much-maligned, E.T. ripoff called Mac and Me, a 1988 family film sponsored by McDonald's. The film is considered one of the worst of all time, which has also made it a cult classic.

One scene, in particular, is rather ridiculous: It features the character Eric, a young boy in a wheelchair who hears a noise and subsequently rolls downhill before careening off a cliff into the water below, where he encounters an alien named MAC (Mysterious Alien Creature), who saves his life.

It sounds ridiculous, but watch the scene for yourself and try not to laugh out loud:

Well, every time Rudd makes an appearance on O'Brien's show, he always manages to find a way to either replace the clip or incorporate this particular scene into the clip of whatever movie he's there to promote. And O'Brien falls for it every time.

Here he is promoting Anchorman 2:

When appearing on the show for 2015's Ant-Man, Rudd had to get a little more creative to trick O'Brien:

Rudd explained the prank on BBC 5 Live's Kermode and Mayo Show, saying: "I set up a clip - you know, they cut to a clip - so I set up the clip, and then I just showed the clip from Mac and Me with the kid going off the cliff in the wheelchair. And then I went back again to promote something else - like the last episode of Friends and I said I actually have some footage from the show, and they set it up very seriously, and then just showed that Mac and Me clip."

In 2016, Rudd actually explained his prank to his Avengers costar Chris Evans. Apparently, it started around the time Rudd starred in The 40-Year-Old Virgin and grew from there. When Evans asked if Rudd always employed the scene of the kid going over the edge of the cliff, Rudd said, "It's the same clip."

If you really want to torture yourself (and hopefully have a good chuckle), here is a supercut of several times Rudd has pulled the prank on O'Brien's show:

And while O'Brien might be sick of seeing that same scene over and over again, most people tend to agree that it's hilarious:

So thank you, Paul Rudd, for your service to humanity:

Hillary Clinton Just Threw Some Epic Shade At Trump Over His Push To Print $250 Bills Featuring His Portrait

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton mocked President Donald Trump following a report he approved a proposed design featuring his portrait on a new $250 bill bearing his signature, despite longstanding federal law barring living people from appearing on U.S. currency.

According to four current and former Treasury Department employees who spoke to the Post anonymously out of fear of retaliation, two political appointees at the department—U.S. Treasurer Brandon Beach and senior adviser Mike Brown—repeatedly pressed Bureau of Engraving and Printing staff beginning last year to develop prototype designs for the bill.

Kathleen Thomas, 36, was pulled over in February by a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office deputy over an alleged distracted driving violation captured on both Thomas’ phone and police body cam footage.
