North Korea Threatens U.S. With Impending Nuclear War

North Korea gave a dire warning to the United Nations General Assembly disarmament committee about the increasing likelihood of a nuclear war on Monday.

Kim In Ryong, North Korea’s deputy ambassador to the U.N., told the committee that a nuclear conflict with the United States "may break out any moment," continuing an escalating war of words between the isolated country and President Trump.

Kim added that his country is now a "full-fledged nuclear power which possesses the delivery means of various ranges, including the atomic bomb, H-bomb and intercontinental ballistic rockets," and gave the U.S. a stern warning: "The entire U.S. mainland is within our firing range, and if the U.S. dares to invade our sacred territory even an inch it will not escape our severe punishment in any part of the globe."

While the comments may sound severe, they're actually fairly par for the course when it comes to North Korea's rhetoric surrounding nuclear war.

But what's more troubling is how Trump has responded in recent months, calling North Korean leader Kim Jong-un "little rocket man," and threatening to "totally destroy" North Korea if they attempt to test their nuclear capabilities on the U.S. or any of its allies.

Despite the strong language, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson is still looking for a diplomatic solution, and vows to continue to do so "until the first bomb drops," despite Trump's tweets suggesting that Tillerson is "wasting his time."

Trump is set to visit South Korea in November, and hasn't ruled out visiting the Demilitarized Zone that Vice President Pence famously was photographed at as he gave North Korea a good hard glare.

But don't expect peace to be easily or swiftly reached.

"Unless the hostile policy and the nuclear threat of the U.S. is thoroughly eradicated, we will never put our nuclear weapons and ballistic rockets on the negotiating table under any circumstances," Kim said.

Stephen Colbert Makes Somber Plea To Americans In Wake Of Charlie Kirk's Death

Late-night host Stephen Colbert had a somber message for Americans as he addressed the assassination of far-right activist Charlie Kirk, stressing that "political violence only leads to more political violence."

Kirk died after an unidentified gunman shot him in the neck as he—ironically enough—mocked victims of gun violence at an event in Utah Valley State University. Kirk's murder has galvanized the far-right, with President Donald Trump and his surrogates claiming without evidence that rhetoric from Democrats is responsible for Kirk's death.

Sometimes you can just tell when something was designed *for* women, but was not actually designed *by* women.

Take, for instance, the new pleated pants available at Target from the Champion clothing line. While there's nothing wrong with pleated pants and they certainly have a suitable spot in the workplace, the latest rendition of Champion pleated pants are, shall we say, NSFW.

Woman Goes Viral After Revealing How Her Obsession With Matcha Landed Her In The Hospital

Let's be honest: Too much of anything isn't good for us. It's all about the balance!

But the media and social media trends have taught us that certain things are really good for us, encouraging us to be like the "very mindful and very demure" girls and take care of ourselves. One such example is drinking more matcha, especially if you really like coffee or think you have a caffeine addiction.
