Woman Has TikTok In Stitches With Hilarious Revenge After Getting Laid Off From Her Job

Laid off TikToker sharing the revenge prank she got on her office
@the.marchie

TikToker @the.marchie decided to hide images of her face with various speech bubbles around the office—and it's low-key brilliant.

Getting laid off is at the very least disappointing, but it can feel a little better when we have the opportunity to bring a little levity to the situation.

That was TikToker Marchie's approach, anyway.

Over at @the.marchie on TikTok, Marchie detailed her distaste at being laid off suddenly from her place of work. Since she was the only employee being laid off, it had a particular sting to it.

But to give herself the feeling of being in control, she decided to have one final hurrah with her coworkers by pulling a prank on the entire office.

Gone but NEVER forgotten #pranks #layoffseason

Marchie printed out an undisclosed number of photos of herself with a talk bubble.

In each of these talk bubbles, she wrote silly messages like "Bazinga!" and other funny or uplifting notes.

Then, on the back of each one, she wrote the number it was in the series, but she skipped numbers, so her coworkers would never know if they actually found them all.

The most hilarious part about this was the absolute tizzy Marchie's prank had clearly left her former office coworkers in.

On the first workday after Marchie had set up the prank, she received a message on Snapchat featuring a back office whiteboard where her pictures were being collected.

Featuring six of her found pictures, the top of the board questioned:

"How many pictures of Marchie are hidden around the office?"

Accompanied by an additional eleven pictures, the bottom of the board hinted:

"There may be a clue on the backs."

This was clearly the assignment Marchie had left for her former coworkers, in addition to hiding presumably many more pictures around the office with their various talk bubble messages.

But what was so entertaining about this was how it was taking over the office.

Over the image read a coworker's message:

"This is literally ALL we have been doing today, lmao (laughing my a** off), trying to find all of you."

Marchie got exactly what she wanted.

"Even though none of this was my choice, I still wanted to leave somewhat on my terms."
"I knew my office mates would enjoy this scavenger hunt, and it would waste company time, so it was a win-win!"

Most of TikTok was left in awe of her creativity.

TikTok was thoroughly amused by Marchie's prank and presumably so were her former office mates.

Marchie made it clear this was an enjoyable past time for her, too, as it proved to be a healthy and hilarious distraction during what would otherwise be a painful time.

Georgia MAGA Republican Representative and QAnon conspiracy theorist Marjorie Taylor Greene has found herself on the wrong side of MAGA Republican President Donald Trump, but on the right side of history when it comes to protecting women and children from sexual predators.

The split began in earnest with MTG's support of Kentucky Republican Representative Thomas Massie's discharge petition to force a House vote on Massie's bill, cosponsored by California Democratic Representative Ro Khanna: HR 185, the Epstein Files Transparency Bill.

'Shark Tank' Star Dragged After Whining About How Mamdani Hasn't Made Things 'Free' In NYC Yet

Billionaire former Shark Tank star Kevin O'Leary was criticized after sarcastically lamenting during a Fox Business interview that he expected "free" buses, meals and lodging after Zohran Mamdani was elected mayor of New York City—completely ignoring the fact that Mamdani isn't in office yet.

Mamdani won this month's election to become the next mayor of New York City, successfully weathering Islamophobic and racist attacks. The win marked a turning point in U.S. politics—Mamdani is a democratic socialist preparing to lead the global financial capital—and sent shockwaves around the world.
