The reality TV star showed off her recent interaction with a Tesla Optimus robot—and people aren't quite sure what to think.

Sometimes it feels like we're living in the future, but not always in the best way.

Kim Kardashian lived a lot of futurists' dreams recently when she was able to test a Tesla Optimus robot, sharing her interaction in a video that quickly went viral. In the video, she made "heart hands" with the robot, and then watched as the robot pretended to hula dance, among other movements.

Tesla recently unveiled the robots at a launch, with Elon Musk citing the $30,000 machines as the "biggest product ever of any kind."

He went on to describe some of its capabilities.

“It can be a teacher, babysit your kids, it can walk your dog, mow your lawn, get the groceries, just be your friend, serve drinks, whatever you can think of, it will do.”

But people were not necessarily charmed by the robot, primed by nearly a century of literature, films, and TV shows about how robots can be dangerous.

Some folks really did want a robot like this.

Some found the video unnerving.

Some people skipped being weirded out and went straight to being scared.

Some took it in a completely different direction.

It was pretty surreal.

What's your take on this use of technology?

The 896 steps of the Washington Monument's interior stairs were always intended to be seen, with commemorative stones—193 in total—on the walls along the route. States, cities, foreign nations, businesses, labor unions, and civic organizations provided stones as part of fundraising efforts to complete the monument or for later renovations.

Conservatives Dragged After Complaining That Netflix's 'Captain Planet' Reboot Will Be 'Woke'

In 1990, Turner Broadcasting System (TBS) began to air an environmentalism and conservation focused children's edutainment program that ran for six seasons. At the time, owner Ted Turner was dating and later married to actor and activist Jane Fonda.
