Alex Jones Asks Mike Tyson To Broker Peace With Putin While They Smoke 'Magic Tobacco' In Bonkers Video

Alex Jones Asks Mike Tyson To Broker Peace With Putin While They Smoke 'Magic Tobacco' In Bonkers Video

Conspiracy theorist and InfoWars founder Alex Jones asked retired boxer Mike Tyson to broker peace with Russian President Vladimir Putin, as seen in a bizarre video.

As the two men smoked Tyson's "magic tobacco," Jones asked Tyson if he would like to follow in the footsteps of former basketball player Dennis Rodman and get involved in international affairs.

Jones' question comes as the United States continues to send aid to a war-torn Ukraine, which continues to fend off Russian aggression after Putin ordered his forces to attack the country on February 24, creating the largest humanitarian and refugee crisis seen in Europe in decades.

You can watch their interaction in the video below.

Tyson, opining about the war, said:

"I think it started out as a war for finance - and so many of us got involved because of the humanity of it."
"It became a war of humanity because so many people got involved, so many countries got involved, and now Russia’s really losing from a public opinion perspective."
“That’s worse than being hit by a nuclear bomb, so to speak - at least you’re dead with a nuclear bomb but you’ve got to live with this crap.”

Jones then made the bizarre claim that Rodman, who has had a long friendship with North Korea's Kim dynasty, effectively "kinda ended" the war between the dictatorship and the democratic south, and asked Tyson if he'd broker peace with Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Tyson replied:

“Imma look at it like this. People aren't going to like this."
"Sometimes I see a hawk and it grabs a robin. And I can stop him from killing that bird but once I stop him from killing that bird, he dies, his baby dies, who am I saving, how am I right?"
“That’s what I tell my kids, how are you right if you save that bird right now? Now he (the hawk) is going to die, his baby’s gonna die, something’s going to die."

Their exchange left the internet dumbfounded... and wondering what in the world they were even talking about.

The exchange between the two is one of Jones' odder headlines.

Last month, Jones was mocked after he ranted that his viewers should also give donations to fight the “war against you and your family of inflation and collapse."

In April, three companies affiliated with Jones filed for Chapter 11 protection in U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas, according to court documents.

Jones has sought to avoid paying damages in relation to defamation lawsuits from families of victims of the 2012 Sandy Hook school shooting, which Jones has long claimed was a hoax.

Yesterday, news outlets reported that Jones had withdrawn the bankruptcy petitions, noting that his gambit had failed.
