A bat boy for the Los Angeles Dodgers is going viral after a foul ball rocketed toward the Dodgers' dugout—and $700 million star Shohei Ohtani—and he caught it with his bare hands like it was nothing.

A Dodgers bat boy provided the save of the season on Wednesday in Chicago when he caught a foul ball headed towards Shohei Ohtani in the dugout during the Dodgers’ 4-0 win over the White Sox.

The bat boy, wearing No. 94, made the catch look effortless, saving the NL MVP favorite from a potential injury.

The incident happened so quickly that Ohtani, stationed right behind the bat boy, had barely raised his hands in defense when the ball was caught.

The bat boy’s “Action Hero” moment saw him standing with the ball in his hands, his expression a mix of surprise and focus, as he lifted his right leg as if starting a windup. The crowd around him, initially unaware of the close call, quickly realized what had happened and began to cheer.

After ensuring Ohtani’s safety, the bat boy casually turned and handed the ball to a fan in the stands, much to their delight.

The seven-second clip of the incident, which quickly went viral, ended with Ohtani approaching the bat boy, seemingly to thank him for his quick reaction.

People who saw the clip were immediately impressed.

Others commented on how much it must have hurt to catch a ball going that fast with your bare hands.

People were particularly impressed with how casual he was.

People noticed another person caught on film with a less chill reaction.

Why isn't he playing?

The Dodgers, who aren't exactly hurting for cash, even get top tier bat boys.

The Dodgers will play the San Francisco Giants this weekend.
