The internet sensation was presented with two fruit baskets representing Trump and Harris ahead of the election, and she accurately went for Trump to the dismay of her adoring fans.

Beloved baby hippo Moo Deng lost points with fans after she accurately predicted Republican President-elect Donald Trump's White House victory over his rival, Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris on the eve of election day.

The adorable pygmy hippopotamus that won the hearts of the internet after being born at Thailand's Khao Kheow Open Zoo this summer was tasked to foretell the 2024 US election turnout by choosing between Trump and Harris.

Each candidate was represented by respective watermelons placed in the enclosure bearing their names etched in Thai.

A circulating video showed Moo Deng waddling ashore and going for the large edible fruit with Trump's name on it, and we know what happened by early Wednesday morning. Donald Trump was elected the 47th President of the United States.

You can watch a clip of Moo Deng choosing the ill-fated melon here.

Now that Moo has Deng done it by accurately prophesying Trump's return to the White House for a second term, social media users were not too happy about the baby totterer snubbing Harris.

There were calls to fry the messenger.

People didn't know where to aim their lingering resentment over the election outcome.

Animal lovers reminded those who were quick to roast Moo Deng that she was innocent in all of this.

It's not your fault you're blessed with a gift that didn't work out in some voters' favor.

We still love you though, Moo.
