Amy Schumer was not about to quietly stand by while all this news about Harry and Meghan stepping away from royal life whizzes around the interwebs.

In typical Schumer fashion, she took to Instagram for some timely trolling.

Schumer is responding to the recent bombshell that Harry and Meghan dropped on the whole world, describing their decision to "step back" from their roles as senior members of the royal family.

Harry is 6th in line to the throne while elder brother William and his children are in the 3rd through 5th positions. Harry and Meghan's son Archie—who currently has no royal title—is 7th in line.

Whether Buckingham Palace will take steps to change the order of succession based on Prince Harry's decision is unclear.

Not long after the complete media storm sparked by that very post was well underway, Schumer posted her own version of independent decree, featuring husband and baby daddy, Chris Fischer, saying:

"Chris and I are formally stepping down from our royal duties. We appreciate your support."

Notice the similarities in these photographs. An eye for detail is not lost on Amy.

The comedian's post aroused plenty of laughs from followers.

This Schumer vs. Duke & Duchess behavior is by no means an isolated incident.

In fact, Amy Schumer has repeatedly poked at Markle throughout their simultaneous pregnancies in late 2018, early 2019. At one point, Schumer even jokingly called Markle her "nemesis" during an interview with InStyle.

Check Schumer's pregnancy announcement on Instagram.

If you look closely you can see that the photo's been tampered with.

Schumer even did a little jab from the ER during her birth announcement too.

Silly, yes, but Schumer's trolling is not without its legitimate commentary on the demands placed on celebrities to constantly perform.

And that sometimes real life is messy.

We may not quite know what will happen with Harry and Meghan. But it appears Amy Schumer is planning to keep on keepin' on regardless.

Trump Dragged After Making Ridiculous Claim About Randomly Finding Billions On The 'Tariff Shelf'

President Donald Trump was criticized after he claimed to reporters this week that officials in his administration suddenly found $30 billion they "never knew existed"—located on what Trump referred to as the "tariff shelf."

Tariffs are a tax on imported goods, usually calculated as a percentage of the purchase price. While tariffs can shield domestic manufacturers by making foreign products more expensive, they are also used as a tool to penalize countries engaged in unfair trade practices, such as government subsidies or dumping goods below market value.

Bride's Friends Surprise Her With Montage Video Of All Her Exes At Bachelorette Party—And People Are Mortified

While Jenny Han's novel To All the Boys I've Loved Before was a major hit, and even became a great film success in 2018, not everyone's married to the idea of reconnecting with their exes after the relationships end.

It might be nice to imagine staying friends after the relationships, imagining our exes missing us or regretting losing us, or even giving us an apology for the things they did wrong. But most of us pine for this for a little while, realize it's all a fairy tale, and push past it to better things and new love.
