After being shown a video of Johansson admitting on the red carpet for her new film 'Asteroid City' that Cruise is on her 'list' of actors she'd 'love to work with,' he had nothing but praise in response.

Hide the furniture, y'all... Tom Cruise is elated. But honestly, who can blame him?

Scarlett Johansson just revealed to The Hollywood Reporter she would love to work with the Top Gun star.

When Cruise heard the pitch, he was all for it, promising, "Oh, yeah it's gonna happen."

He gushed of the Black Widow star:

"There’s a great actress and a movie star."
"Oh, yeah it's gonna happen. Absolutely."

Cruise added:

"I've watched her career her whole life."
"She's enormously talented. Very charismatic. It'd be fun."
"She can do everything. She can do comedy, drama, action, suspense."
"She's someone that really draws you in on the screen and on camera, so absolutely it's gonna happen."

You can watch Cruise's reaction below.

And their fans on social media are ready for it!

While we're waiting for this incredible collaboration, we can catch the two separately on the big screen to hold us over.

Johansson's Asteroid City will be released on June 23. Cruise's Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One opens in theaters on July 12.

Trump Blasted After Declaring Himself ‘Acting President Of Venezuela’ In Mock Wikipedia Entry

Trump previously claimed the U.S. will take a day-to-day role governing Venezuela after removing Maduro, an act of regime change widely viewed as an act of war that came without congressional approval and violated international law.
