Mick Jagger's Health Has Reportedly Forced The Rolling Stones To Postpone Their Upcoming North America Tour

The Rolling Stones announced on March 30 that their upcoming tour of North America would be postponed so frontman Mick Jagger, 75, could receive medical treatment.

A statement from the band, released on their website, reads:

"Mick has been advised by doctors that he cannot go on tour at this time, as he needs medical treatment...The doctors have advised Mick that he is expected to make a complete recovery so that he can get back on stage as soon as possible."

Though it's unknown what medical issues Jagger is working through, he issued a heartfelt apology on Twitter for the postponed tour dates.

The Rolling Stones's tour was expected to begin on April 20, but will now be pushed back to indeterminate dates.

The band encouraged fans to hold onto their tickets, however, "as they will be valid for the rescheduled dates, which will be announced shortly."

The Rolling Stones have had to push back tour dates due to medical complications in the past, such as the time guitarist Keith Richards sustained a concussion when he fell out of a coconut tree.

Fans were disappointed in the rescheduled upcoming concerts, but ultimately just wanted to make sure Jagger was okay.

Feel better, Mick Jagger—we're counting on you to bring some rock back into our lives very soon!
