The 81-year-old lifestyle guru is the oldest person to ever grace the magazine's cover for their legendary swimsuit edition.

Martha Stewart just made history... okay that part should come as no surprise.

But she just made history as Sports Illustrated Swimsuit's oldest cover model at 81 years old, a year after Maye Musk took the crown at the age of 74.

Stewart told the magazine:

"Usually I'm motivated by pay."
"But this time I was motivated by showing people that a woman my age could still look good, feel good, be good."

You can see the stunning cover below.

Stewart added:

"I thought that this is kind of historic and that I better look really good."

And that she did.

She shared a sit down with the issue's editor MJ Day on her podcast where they discussed the photoshoot and shared more photos.

Fans on Twitter agreed and sang the praises of the icon.

SI Swimsuit editor in chief MJ Day said of Stewart:

"Never in her life has she let her circumstances dictate her outcome."
"She's changed with the times - always one step ahead, it seems - to build a wide-reaching business empire."

Day also shared in a statement provided to Yahoo Life:

"While the industry wavers on its arbitrary notion of beauty, our issue has stayed the course, showcasing the women of today, the women shaping the future."
"Martha Stewart is a legend. The definition of a great female entrepreneur who built a dynasty against insurmountable odds."

And there's a reason for that, as Stewart explained:

"My motto is, when you're through changing, you're through."

Gavin Newsom Hilariously Trolls Trump For Struggling To Stay Awake During Antifa Roundtable

Remote Worker Speaks Out After Job Uses 'Dystopian' Software To Track His Productivity

There are a few vital truths to every office-based job. First, there are going to be "busy work" moments, from meetings to admin tasks to minor side-quest-style projects that add to the company in some small way but otherwise feel like a waste of time.

Second, as human beings, we all need breaks to restore our mental focus, so a person who occasionally scrolls through their personal email, sends a few texts to a friend, or even scrolls Instagram for a few minutes, will likely be more productive than those who attempt to lock in and do nothing but their job throughout their entire shift.
