Actor Mara Wilson Perfectly Blasts Trump Over His Order Banning Trans Women In Female Sports

The Matilda star took to Bluesky to make a blunt point about how the anti-trans order coming from President Trump is hypocrisy at its finest.

Matilda star Mara Wilson ripped President Donald Trump over his order banning transgender women in female sports, pointing out the hypocrisy of Trump being so fixated on whatever goes on in women's locker rooms.

Wilson spoke out after Trump signed an executive order Wednesday banning transgender women and girls from competing in female sports. Titled the “No Men in Women’s Sports Executive Order,” it marks the fourth executive action targeting transgender individuals since he took office on January 20.

White House officials confirmed that the administration will revoke the Biden-era Title IX guidance, which required schools to allow transgender students to join sports teams and access facilities that align with their gender identity. Instead, Trump's order prohibits students assigned male at birth from participating in girls’ and women’s sports or using women’s restrooms.

This prompted Wilson to comment on Trump's hypocrisy in a post on BlueSky.

She wrote:

“I know pointing out hypocrisy doesn’t matter anymore, but if there’s one person I wouldn’t want to be the judge of who goes into locker rooms, it would be the man who openly boasted about walking into dressing rooms of underage girls.”

Wilson's post referenced the infamous comments Trump made on the Access Hollywood tape that resurfaced during the 2016 election cycle.

The recording, made in 2005 and leaked to The Washington Post, was published in October 2016—just over a month before Election Day. In the video, Trump is heard recounting an unsuccessful attempt to pursue a married woman before making crude remarks about his ability to kiss and grope women without their consent.

At the time, he said:

"You know, I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet."
"Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything." ...
"Grab ’em by the p*ssy. You can do anything."

Similarly, during a 2005 appearance on shock jock Howard Stern's SirusXM program, Trump discussed his ownership of the Miss Universe, Miss USA, and Miss Teen USA pageants, the latter of which included contestants as young as 15.

He told Stern that he was “allowed” backstage during the events:

“You know they’re standing there with no clothes. Is everybody OK? And you see these incredible-looking women. And so I sort of get away with things like that.”

Many agreed with Wilson's point.

Ah - but what these rightwing nutjobs are worried about is like the difference between open carry and concealed carry: as long as everyone can see your gun, it's ok. What they're really worried about is what they think of as men pretending to be women; it's nothing to do with protecting anyone.

I know MAGAts who literally say Trump can do horrible things to the women in their family and will vote for him. And they still believe trans people are a threat to women. They are too dumb to understand hypocrisy. I work with these people. They are not in my life willingly.

It isn’t just hypocrisy it is the acceptance of this vile behavior by the Republican Party as normal.

Isn't it amazing how horrified so many "Christians" are about happily together gay couples, but praise the guy who is not only an adulterer, a rapist and a felon, but a Peeping Tom who lusts after teenage girls?

It’s the extreme hypocrisy that infuriates me more than anything in all this. Fills me with fucking rage and then I’m upset because I’ve never been an angry raging person yet here I am, feeling full of hate. They’ve turned me into a hateful person. Ugh 🤦🏼♀️😔

It never mattered. They don't operate in good faith. They're either consciously duplicitous in service to power, or capable of believing incompatible things to further their interests and protect their egos.

I think in their world, hetero men can do whatever they want to underage girls, gross but there it is

I don't think such a man could become president in any civilized country.

The timing of Trump's order was intentional, as it coincided with the 39th annual National Girls & Women in Sports Day, an event established in 1987 to celebrate female athletes and encourage girls to engage in sports.

Over 20 states already restrict transgender athletes from participating in school sports, both in K-12 and collegiate levels. Additionally, in January, just days before Trump's inauguration, the House passed a bill aimed at prohibiting transgender women and girls from participating in female sports programs nationwide.

The bill's future remains uncertain in the Senate, where it would require support from seven Democrats to move forward.

People Who Smashed Wedding Cake In Their Spouse's Face Reveal How Their Relationship Is Going Now

According to The Knot wedding resource magazine and website, smashing cake into the face of a spouse after tying the knot is a tradition tied to medieval England. To celebrate the marriage, the bride would toss a piece of piece of cake over her shoulder for good luck.

This evolved into newlyweds feeding a piece of cake to one another, then taking frosting or a small bit of cake and rubbing it gently onto each other's faces—usually the cheek or tip of the nose.

The term malaphor means when two or more colloquial phrases or idioms get confused and combined to create something nonsensical. According to the National Institute of Health (NIH), malaphors are a common symptom of frontotemporal dementia or other cognitive impairments.

So when a person seeks to accuse someone of being unintelligent, their use of malaphors is ironic and possibly very telling—narcissists will always accuse others of their own faults and failures.
