On Sunday, Michelle Obama spoke at a rally in Las Vegas encouraging Americans to vote. Some of her speech didn't sit well with a certain political commentator, but Kathy Griffin had Michelle's back.

Michelle Obama spoke to the attendees of Sunday's first-ever When We All Vote rally, rousing them to get out and vote even if circumstances seem hopeless.

She said,

"Our vote matters. It always does. But only if we use that vote."

She continued along that same line by admitting that she, too, was "sick of all the chaos and nastiness of our politics". She continued to empathize with listeners, but also challenged them to take action instead of choosing complacency.

"But here's the problem. While some folks are frustrated and tuned out and staying home on Election Day, trust me, other folks are showing up. Democracy continues with or without you."

The former First Lady went on to explain what the crowd needed to do.

"Here's what we have to do. If we want qualified people that we trust, then people have to vote. Because you can't vote some of the time and then sit out. You know, we saw that happen. We experienced that. But we had a great president."

Approximately 23 minutes into Michelle's speech someone yelled,

"Run for president!"

Their interjection spurred the "longest and loudest cheers of the night" according to the Washington Post, despite the initiative officially being nonpartisan.

However, Mrs. Obama's last line, "But we had a great president," caused notoriously conservative political commentator, Tomi Lahren, to attempt to tear the former FLOTUS down.

Ms. Lahren should have known better than to attack Michelle Obama, but regardless she tweeted this.

Again, Lahren should have known better because in turn, comedian Kathy Griffin eviscerated her.

Twitter is living for Griffin's epic comeback.

Thank you, Ms. Griffin, for saying what we all wanted to.
