Politics and the music industry collided resulting in a cartoon mashup with Kanye West's tweets.

The artist has been up to headline-making antics including the firing of his manager, getting his 'Make American Great Again' cap signed, and engaging in a borderline spat with music colleague and friend John Legend, who relayed his concerns of West aligning with Donald Trump.

Music site Pigeons & Planes struck while the Kanye-frenzy was hot and created a series of ten cartoons using The New Yorker illustrations captioned with actual tweets from the controversial rapper.

The New Yorker cartoons are great again and relevant than ever, thanks to some of West's astute observations.

According to People, Legend, 39, reached out to West via text messages on Thursday concerned about the damaging effects of a pro-Trump stance.

So many people who love you feel so betrayed right now because they know the harm that Trump's policies cause, especially to people of color. Don't let this be part of your legacy. You're the greatest artist of our generation.

West casually rebuffed him, saying, "I love you John and I appreciate your thoughts. You bringing up my fans or my legacy is a tactic based on fear used to manipulate my free thought."

West justified sharing a screenshot of their exchange, saying:

I tweeted the John text to show that there are people around me that disagree with me and voice their opinion. I respect everyone's opinion but I stand my ground. if you feel something don't let peer pressure manipulate you.

On Wednesday, the outspoken Trump supporter tweeted a photo of his MAGA hat signed by Donald Trump.

While some may have mixed feelings about West's loyalty to the president, others stand by his re-purposed tweets.

Even the artist himself expressed his approval well below the maximum of 280 characters.

President Donald Trump was criticized after he claimed during a sit-down interview with 60 Minutes correspondent Norah O'Donnell that he doesn't know who Binance cryptocurrency exchange founder Changpeng Zhao is despite pardoning him less than two weeks ago.

In 2023, Zhao pleaded guilty to violating anti–money laundering laws after Binance allegedly failed to report suspicious transactions involving groups such as Hamas and al-Qaida. He later apologized, paid a $50 million fine, and served nearly four months in prison before being pardoned by Trump.

Gavin Newsom Expertly Trolls Trump Administration With Parody Spirit Halloween Costume Memes

California Governor Gavin Newsom had social media users cackling after he, in a series of photos on X, mocked Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, and Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. with photoshopped meme versions of Spirit Halloween costumes.

Noem, who has led the nationwide immigration crackdown that continues to tear apart families around the country, is the "Border Barbie" of one meme that pokes fun at her for shooting her dog, her penchant for bringing camera crews wherever she goes, and the way South Park writers lampooned her in one of its most widely-seen episodes this year.
