The Oscar winner called out 'Meredith' over a cruel birthday party snub—but also apologized to a boy she once pantsed.

Not even a famous Hollywood actress like Jennifer Lawrence was able to escape being bullied.

Pretty much everyone has had some encounter with a bully whether it be that they were directly bullied, they were the bully or they witnessed someone being bullied.

It would be a miracle if anyone got through their whole life without ever encountering a bully.

In a video interview with E! News, Lawrence talked about her middle school bully, Meredith.

“This one girl named Meredith handed me a stack of invitations to her birthday party, but I was not invited."
"She asked me to hand them out. Isn’t that so mean?”

Lawrence also confessed she was once an accidental bully herself.

“I was an accidental bully because I pantsed this kid named Tyler. We were pantsing people at a football game, and I accidentally grabbed his underwear."
"He got really embarrassed and I feel really bad. I’m sorry.”

People on social media were supportive of Lawrence.

Others also called out Meredith.

Bullies are unfortunately prevalent in our world, whether you're in middle school or an adult.

Seeing someone as influential as Lawrence call out a bully and apologize for accidentally being one is a great step in teaching people how to handle these situations.
