Cat videos are a large part of what makes the internet what it is today, and the cat video that went viral this week on Instagram and TikTok is no exception to that rule.

In the video, we are greeted with a cat's thick Southern accent, and the internet can't get enough.

The video starts off simply enough: there are two cats in the room, a beautiful black and white and a lovely red tabby, and also a Roomba.

The Roombo is doing its work, sidling around the room, which slightly spooks the red tabby, whose name is Gambino. We need see Gambino flit across the room and through the kitchen.

The person taking the video, the cats' fur-mom, follows the cat's path and finds him giving himself a bath in the corner, just past the fridge.

As the camera pans around the corner of the fridge, Gambino briefly looks up and gives a two-syllable meow, which audibly compares to a quick greeting in a thick Southern accent.

Gambino, in no uncertain terms, said:

"Well, hi!"

The owner posted the video on Instagram and TikTok. Overnight, the video has received rave reviews on Instagram, and it's gone viral on TikTik with more than 10-thousand comments and 1.4-million likes.

The internet, of course, cannot get enough of watching this cat with his thick Southern accent, and apparently, his hospitable greetings.

Clearly, the internet is far from getting tired of watching cat videos.

But perhaps when it comes to an especially cute and friendly cat, with a little Southern hospitality thrown in, we may have a particularly winning video on our hands.
