Former governor of Arkansas Mike Huckabee incited a family spat between the Baldwin brothers and left the internet confused.

It all started when Alec Baldwin announced he was hanging up his Trump hairpiece on SNL, saying:

"I can't imagine I would do it again. I just can't."

Huckabee expressed "good riddance" in a tweet lambasting the Emmy-winning actor and directed followers to watch his relaunched Christian-based program Huckabee instead of SNL.

On Saturday, the former Republican presidential nominee for the 2016 presidential election tweeted:

"Alec Baldwin announced that he's "so done" playing @realDonaldTrump on Saturday Night Live. Good news for viewers who are 'so done' with SNL & unfunny vicious Trump bashing instead of comedy. For refreshing variety, try my show instead tonight!"

Billy Baldwin—the second-youngest of the Baldwin brothers—scorched Huckabee, whose daughter is White House Press Secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

"Only two things funnier than my brothers impersonation of Trump. Your daughters impersonation of being an honest, decent human being and your impersonation of being a Christian."

Things took a turn when Stephen Baldwin—a born-again Christian and the youngest Baldwin brother—took aim at Billy on Twitter with the hashtag:

#GottaReadYaBibleBilly

"Do unto others," he suggested and continued, "which one made it personal."

"One difference / mystery of God is true holy discontent & the true hate in our hearts ... that comes without Christ."

Billy responded with a double-take and wondered which side his younger brother was on.

He added that any "Christian" who supports Donald Trump himself "is a fraud" and countered with the hashtag: #GottaReadANewspaperStevie.

Twitter chimed in by commenting on the black sheep of the family.

Billy affirmed his affection for his brother but added that politics divide them.

Actress Holly Marie Combs had a suggestion for Stephen.

This user shared an anecdote about her regrets over a sibling at odds.

Twitter remains confused over the im-bro-glio.

People wished Stephen well.

Others did not leave Huckabee off the hook for bashing Alec Baldwin.

Alec Baldwin stated the reason for retiring from his SNL portrayal of Trump was so that he could spend more time with family.

Continued attacks for his turn as the commander-in-chief culminated in Trump's attack on SNL:

"Nothing funny about tired Saturday Night Live on Fake News NBC! Question is, how do the Networks get away with these total Republican hit jobs without retribution?"

Alec asked someone to convince SNL producer Lorne Michaels to find another Trump impersonator.

"I thought to myself: 'I really don't have a lot invested in my Trump impersonation, so please find someone and convince Lorne [Michaels] to replace me.' "

While actors are interchangeable, brothers are not.

Hopefully, the Twitter feud is nothing more than a minor bro-haha.
