Zac Efron Updates Fans After Being Hospitalizing Following 'Swimming Incident' In Ibiza

After reports of a 'minor' incident while swimming in Ibiza that put the 'High School Musical' star in the hospital, Efron took to his Instagram stories to assure fans he was fine.

Zac Efron took to social media to assure fans he's "happy and healthy" following reports that he was hospitalized following a "swimming incident" in Ibiza.

TMZ first reported that a rep for the actor said he was taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure due to what they called a "minor swimming incident" that occurred at the villa he was staying in on Friday night while vacationing in Ibiza.


He was released the following morning.

The rep also reported that Efron was "fine" following the scare, but the actor also shared his status via his Instagram stories, posting a photo of himself lifting some weights outside and adding the text:

"happy and healthy - thanks for the well wishes"

People on social media thanked the actor for his positive update and expressed their relief that he is okay.











It seems that the High School Musical star has been enjoying himself in Europe over the last few weeks.
