TikToker Catches White U.S. Open Fan Texting About 'All The Black People' Leaving After Serena Lost

TikToker Catches White U.S. Open Fan Texting About 'All The Black People' Leaving After Serena Lost

A TikToker caught a White male spectator at the US Open informing someone in a text about "Black people leaving" the venue after Serena Williams' final match at the tournament.

TikToker @vlonevfiles posted a video of the message from behind the texter and captioned it with:

"Nah homie was texting crazy."

@vlonevfiles zoomed in on the man's phone screen as he was typing:

"All the black people are leaving bow [sic]."

On Friday's match held at Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York, Williams–who is the winner of 23 Grand Slam singles tournaments–lost to Australia’s Ajla Tomljanovich in the third-round faceoff, 7-5, 6-7, 6-1.

The man was presumably "texting crazy" after the legendary tennis star's defeat, which closed the chapter of her illustrious career.

The text overlay in the clip read:

“POV: The white man in front of u at the Serena Williams game was wildin."

What could have prompted the TikToker to start filming was the preceding sent message visible on the phone that had to do with lesbian pornography.

On Tuesday, the video received over 14 million views.

TiKTokers weighed in with their thoughts, many of which referred to the size of the text font that would've been impossible to ignore.

Others couldn't help but mention the previously sent message. You know, the one about his interest in adult entertainment.

Some TikTokers also questioned the recipient of the messages.

Some TikTokers did admit, however, that there was something to the man's observation about certain departing spectators.

In a part 2 video, @vlonevfiles caught the same individual texting:

“only wipipo [White people] left."

The term "wipipo," often written as “wypipo,” is African-American Vernacular English slang, according to Jstor Daily.

@vlonevfiles told the Daily Dot that the man was texting about Black people leaving the arena during Williams' speech about her win during the US Open.

The TikToker mentioned that the man's text about lesbian porn and the departure of Black people from the area was "very random" at that moment.

But the TikToker added:

“I don’t believe it was his intention however to some [people] I believe it could definitely come off as racist."
