'Wheel Of Fortune' Viewers Left Cringing After Contestants Can't Figure Out Mostly-Solved Puzzle
Wheel Of Fortune

Fewer things are more painful than watching game show contestants flounder from the prison that is your couch at home.

All you want to do is jump in and help, and yet you can only watch.

This pain was experienced by viewers on a grand scale on Tuesday night's Wheel Of Fortune, where contestants were stuck against a puzzle with only three letters remaining and failed to solve it.

The three contestants made several attempts to solve the puzzle unsuccessfully, culminating in one contestant's bankruptcy.

But there for the grace of God...

We can all relate to knowing an answer, knowing you know an answer, but being unable to remember that answer when you need it.

Multiply that pressure by knowing you're being watched by millions of people and a live studio audience, crew and a pair of hosts you've watched for years and it's almost hopeless.

Pressure and competition is abound on TV game shows, no less on Wheel Of Fortune, and the stakes are high, so though it may be tempting to run to Twitter and proverbially slap around the people who aren't getting the answers right, give folks a little grace.

And also remember there are a surprising amount of three letter words than end in "AP."

People Break Down The 'Silent Red Flags' Folks Tend To Ignore In Relationships

A red flag has come to mean any warning sign in life, in addition to the literal red flags that are placed on beaches or industrial sites to warn people of danger.

People will respond to situations by saying, "That’s a red flag." But before that language evolved, they'd just call them "warning signs."
