Character interactions at a Disney park can be a magical and memorable highlight for visiting guests of all ages – including the young at heart.

But, for a woman who had recently been broken up with and was looking for a second chance at love, she set her sights on the wrong character while visiting the Magic Kingdom park at Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

Her interaction with Gaston – the narcissistic villain from Beauty and the Beast – was not the magical Disney interaction she was hoping for but it was one she would soon forget.

The moment was filmed on video and uploaded byTikToker Steph Swift, a.k.a. @nots0swift, and it went viral.

The clip showed the newly single park guest seizing a rebound opportunity after spotting the devious rapscallion walking in a character procession along the parade route in Frontierland.

She called out to the object of her affection and asked:

"Gaston, my boyfriend just broke up with me. Will you go out with me?"

Without missing a beat, Gaston quipped:

"Sorry. I'm looking for the most beautiful woman in town."
