Marvel Is Reportedly In Talks With Priyanka Chopra For A Future Film—And The Internet Is Buzzing

Avengers: Endgame will mark the end of the first major chapter of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Beloved characters like Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America, will likely see the end of their time at the center of the now-ubiquitous mega-franchise, which begs the question: who will be at the center of Marvel's next series of movies?

While fan-favorite characters like Black Panther, Captain Marvel, and Spider-Man are pretty surefire bets, there's still a lot of room on the roster to fill out.

During a recent interview in India, Avengers director Joe Russo teased that actress Priyanka Chopra might find herself helping to save the world!

When asked whether he'd ever consider working with Chopra, Russo told the Hindustan Times:

"I'd love to work with Priyanka. I'm smiling only because we're potentially talking to her about something. I'm just not going to say what yet."

Before anyone goes and gets too excited, it's possible Russo was referring to a non-Marvel project.

Given the context of the interview, however, most people seem to think Russo was hinting at the possibility of Chopra arriving in the MCU, which would make Twitter unbearably exited!

Some people realized with trepidation that the news of Chopra's potential collaboration broke on April Fool's Day...but it all turned out to be a coincidence!

Twitter users began to guess who Chopra might portray in the MCU.

Only time will tell whether Priyanka Chopra will appear in the MCU, and fans don't have a lot of time to worry about that at the moment!

Tickets for Avengers: Endgame, which premiers on April 26, went on sale yesterday, resulting in most online ticket-buying services experiencing temporary crashes due to huge amounts of traffic.

Trump Gets Brutal Reminder After Shaming Former Counterterrorism Chief For Remarrying Too Quickly After Wife's Death

President Donald Trump was given a blunt reminder of his own past after he shamed Joe Kent, the former National Counterterrorism Center director who recently resigned over the war with Iran, saying Kent had remarried too quickly after the death of his first wife.

Kent, a former Green Beret and political candidate with ties to right-wing extremists, was confirmed last July in a 52–44 vote to lead the National Counterterrorism Center, where he oversaw efforts to analyze and detect terrorist threats.
