Georgia Republican Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene took to Twitter Wednesday to challenge Democratic Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York to a debate about the Green New Deal.

Greene—best known for her support of White supremacist talking points and QAnon conspiracy theories—tweeted:

"[Representative Ocasio-Cortez] I'd like to challenge you to a debate on the Green New Deal economic policy."
"Since you sponsored the Green New Deal and have a degree in Economics, I'm sure you are more than qualified."
"I just have a degree in Business Admin and have owned a construction company for 20 years."
"A debate between AOC and I on the Green New Deal economic policy would be informative for the American People."
"They deserve to hear the two sides with pro's and cons."
"AOC you can choose one moderator and I choose a moderator."
"Then we can negotiate a major news network to host the debate."
"Let's do this for The People."
"What do you say?"

Some suggested a pay-per-view could be a real money maker, which Greene picked up on.

Lots of people volunteered to debate Greene on a variety of topics.

The Twitterverse was less than optimistic about Greene's chances in a debate with Representative Ocasio-Cortez.

While some felt the best part of Greene's cry for attention was AOC's response...

Greene is not the first conservative with time on their hands to challenge AOC to a debate.

However the New York Democrat spends her time debating in House committee hearings and meetings, something Greene no longer has to occupy her time.

While a person's wedding day is meant to be a celebration of their love and starting a new life with their partner, it's also important to remember the life they're leaving "behind," specifically the household that raised them.

In a video that's gone viral multiple times before, a Chinese father presents his daughter, who is about to be married, with a bowl of dumplings. He then selects one dumpling and feeds it to her, as a reminder of how he raised her and symbolizing that this is the last time he'll take care of her before she becomes a married woman.
