Mom Says She Lets Toddler Daughter Sleep In Her Bed After Creepy Paranormal Revelation

Mom Says She Lets Toddler Daughter Sleep In Her Bed After Creepy Paranormal Revelation

Before their first kid, lots of people talk all about the things they won't be doing when they're parents. They say brash things like:

"My kid will never have an attitude with me"

That is exactly what you say out loud if you want to guarantee you'll have a Scorpio or something.

And sleep? Psh. The whole "My kids will have a sleep schedule and never sleep with me" thing is great, but expect to make exceptions, especially when they're young.

Toddlers tend to want the comfort of their parents if they're cold, or not feeling well, or if there's a demon wearing your skin and trying to lure them into their closet...

Yeah that last one happens more than you'd think.

TikTok user @not.Cristinayang recently shared this clip explaining why her precious little girl sleeps in bed with her parents for now. The little one has her own sleeping space in her own room, she just refuses to actually sleep in there.

Things were all good until one night she tried to put her daughter to bed in her room, but she "screamed bloody murder" for mom over and over.

After calming her and putting her back, only to have her scream terrified again "like eight times" Mom finally gave up and let her toddler sleep in the grown-ups bed.

They gave things a few nights to settle, then tried again and again her little one was panicked and afraid, even though Mom had set the room up to be extra fun and inviting.

It was time for a conversation.

She sat her daughter down and asked why she was so scared of her room.

The toddlers response:

"Mommy, there’s someone else that comes in here. She looks just like you, but I know she’s not you."
"She looks just like you Mommy, but she wants me to follow her inside the closet and I don't want to go with her."

Ah, closet demons.

The classic hauntings really never go out of style, you know?

TikTok is freaked out for the family.

But let's circle back to that idea of classic hauntings.

We've seen the closet demon thing a zillion times. Monsters in the closet is such a trope that Disney created a whole franchise around the idea.

There's a reason for that.

Brains, when damaged, under stress and otherwise "misfiring" tend to create a decently predictable set of hallucinations.

Seeing monsters, or people who look like a loved one but you somehow know they aren't and the whole in the closet/under the bed/just outside the door or window thing are all pretty common.

Our ancestors might have attributed it to demons or blamed a "witch" but we have a deeper understanding of the mechanics of what's happening in many instances now.

TikTok wanted her to know she's not alone.

We don't know if this little one is experiencing nightmares rooted in some medical condition or if there's something creepier going on.

Either way, it's looking like Cristina has got herself a new bed-buddy for the foreseeable future.
