It might not come as a surprise that Lindsay Lohan's inaugural video on TikTok has caused quite the stir.

The actor, singer and beach club mogul first came to prominence in her youth for her acclaimed performances in films like The Parent Trap, Mean Girls and A Prairie Home Companion.

But since her late teens, she was more often than not in the headlines for her erratic behavior behind the scenes, as well as multiple stints in rehab.

But rest assured that Lohan, looking cheerful and effervescent, neither said nor did anything remotely scandalous in the five-second video.

She merely introduced herself, while also making it known she now has an active TikTok account.

Indeed, what set the internet abuzz was how the Freaky Friday star pronounced her last name.

While many always assumed that her surname was pronounced "LOW-han", Lindsay seemed to pronounce it "LOW-en" in the video.

The realization they had been mispronouncing “Lohan” for decades left her fans and TikTok followers stunned.

Indeed, some of her fans were so surprised by this new development they believed it was she who was mispronouncing her own name.

The news we have been mispronouncing "Lohan" for decades also went viral on Twitter.

Although, whether or not there is a correct way to pronounce "Lohan" might be up for debate.

Cameo, the popular online service connecting fans with celebrities through personalized video messages, posted a video of Lohan where she pronounced her surname as "LOW-han", the way her fans had long believed was correct.

While Lohan herself has yet to step forward and officially say whether the correct pronunciation is "LOW-han" or "LOW-en", one imagines this is a rare moment where she doesn't mind being the center of a media frenzy.

For someone who's had more than their fair share of troubles at her relatively young age, it seems Lohan, who is poised to make an acting comeback in the upcoming Netflix film Falling For Christmas, is making sure her tabloid-prone days are behind her.

As she seemed to make clear in her most recent TikTok video, where she lip-synched to her own 11-year-old voice from The Parent Trap, Lindsay Lohan is now one classy lady.

Fox News Host Apologizes After His Suggestion That Homeless People Be Euthanized Sparks Outrage

Fox and Friends host Brian Kilmeade was criticized for suggesting that homeless people with mental health issues get "involuntary lethal injection" after the murder of Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska on a train in North Carolina—and was swiftly condemned for an insincere apology several days after the fact as many are calling for Fox News to terminate his contract.

Zarutska was stabbed to death at the East/West Boulevard station on the Lynx Blue Line in Charlotte last month; her killer, a homeless man with a history of mental health issues, has since been charged with first-degree murder.

Nancy Mace Just Tried To Claim She's Never 'Dehumanized' Her Colleagues—And The Internet Brought The Receipts

South Carolina Republican Representative Nancy Mace was called out for hypocrisy after she claimed on CNN that Democrats in Congress have been "dehumanizing" Republicans, a move she would "never" do—despite her record of doing just that.

Speaking to anchor Katie Bolduan while the search for the suspect who killed far-right activist Charlie Kirk was ongoing, Mace objected to Bolduan's observation that she was using "us v. them" language, only saying that things are "very one-sided right now." She also suggested that the situation is so bad for her that she's actually afraid of "just walking out in public."
