Lil Nas X's controversial hit song "Montero (Call Me By Your Name)" now has a Kidz Bop cover and everyone's going wild over it.

Kidz Bop has been covering popular hits since 2001. They've covered big names like Doja Cat, Billie Eilish, Britney Spears, Drake, and even Olivia Rodrigo on their latest 2022 album.

On that same album, "Montero (Call Me By Your Name)" by Lil Nas X will somehow be made kid friendly for parents and children to enjoy.

Nas shared with his 7.2 million Twitter followers:

"Lmaooo they are really making a kidz bop version of call me by your name."

It might seem like a prank but the 22-year-old singer shared the commercial and tweeted:

"Not even joking I just saw this commercial."
"They killed it tho."

His fans were behind him on this one.

And he shared his reaction on TikTok.

@lilnasx

Lil Nas X has been trolling his haters since "Montero" reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The song was met with outrage by conservative parents who were afraid their children would hear the song.

They claimed his previous song "Old Town Road" was more appropriate for kids but they might not have actually listened to the lyrics.

In one verse, he said:

"Riding on a tractor/Lean all in my bladder"
"Cheated on my baby/You can go and ask her"

Nas even explicitly called out a parent who claimed he was "targeting kids" with his music:

"I am not gonna spend my entire career trying to cater to your children."
"That is your job"

The irony of Kidz Bop covering his track?

Hilarious.
