Attorney Anthony Orlich was let go from Leader Berkon Colao & Silverstein LLP after TikToker Lizzy Ashliegh accused him of randomly snatching her wig off her head in New York City.

A White lawyer was fired after allegedly snatching a wig off the head of a Black woman. The incident occurred in New York City.

In a video widely shared on social media, the lawyer—identified as Anthony Orlich—can be seen grinning after grabbing a Black woman’s wig off her head.

The woman, Lizzy Ashliegh, can be heard yelling:

“Sir, for what f**king reason? For what reason? For what reason did you take my wig off?”
“Because what made you think that that was the good thing to do? For what? For what? Why did you do that?”

Watch the footage here.

Orlich's law firm—Leader Berkon Colao & Silverstein LLP—subsequently fired him.

They stated:

“We have been made aware of a video of a non-work related incident involving one of our associates circulating on social media.”
“We take seriously any inappropriate behavior by any employee, whether inside or outside the workplace. This associate is no longer with the Firm.”

The incident sparked outrage on social media.
