Hot on the heels of her disastrous Fox News appearance last week, Republican Representative Lauren Boebert has once again embarrassed herself while trying and failing to insult Democratic President Joe Biden.
In a new video posted to Twitter in which Boebert once again defends her outbursts at Biden's State of the Union address two weeks ago, Boebert shared a message for Biden she claimed came from the mother of a Marine who died during active duty.
But she misidentified the Marine's title, giving him a rank that does not exist in the U.S. military.

Speaking about the moment during Biden's speech when she heckled him over the 13 soldiers who died in a terror attack in Kabul during the U.S. military's withdrawal from Afghanistan, Boebert claimed several parents of those service members had written to her in support of her outburst.
"After I spoke up, a few of the parents of our fallen soldiers reached out to me, and one of the moms encouraged me to share her thoughts with you.”
Boebert then read from a piece of paper the words she claimed one of those mothers wrote to her.
“Hello Mrs. Boebert. I am Shana Chappell, the mother of Lieutenant Corporal Kareem Nikoui.”
Chappell is certainly no fan of the President, having publicly criticized him in the past, but it's all but certain these are not her words because "Lieutenant Corporal" is not a rank that exists.
Chappell's son was a Lance Corporal in the U.S. Marines. He was killed in the terror attack in Kabul—which Boebert mispronounced as "cabal" while giving a reading of Chappell's supposed letter so dramatic it sounds like something out of a high school drama class.
Of course, Boebert's Republican fans will forgive her.
But on Twitter, people definitely noticed the error and were not impressed.

This is all pretty rich coming from a Congresswoman who just yesterday attacked Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris as knowing "so little about everything."
Pretty sure Vice President Harris knows the difference between a Marine and an Army soldier and not to make up military ranks.
That alone puts her at an advantage over Boebert.
