Andrew Garfield Just Met A Fan Who Wrote A Bizarre Thirst Tweet About Him—And His Reaction Is Priceless

During a Q&A at the Glastonbury Festival in the U.K. this year, the We Live in Time star came face-to-face with a fan who once tweeted that she wanted Garfield to "smash a laptop on my t*ts."

American actor Andrew Garfield had a funny yet awkward reunion with a fan from a viral ā€œThirst Tweetā€ featured on Buzzfeed Celeb.

The Thirst Tweet compilation shows celebrities reading a collection of scandalous tweets from fans commenting on their looks, attractiveness, and sex appeal. Blushing stars include James McAvoy, Renee Rapp, Keanu Reeves, Anthony Mackie, and more recently, Brad Pitt and Javier Bardem, as they promote F1 the Movie that was released in theaters last week.

And four years ago, before Twitter became X, Garfield read lustful tweets from fans, including one that was probably referencing his character from The Social Network in the scene below.

The fan's vision involved a laptop, smashing, and the user’s ā€œtits.ā€ Flattered and horrified, Garfield replied to the tweet with his hands on his face and clearly refused the raunchy and randy request.

Check out the viral 2021 tweet from @westviewhooker that had the actor in stitches:

Laughing and smiling, he cheekily responded:

ā€œI'm not gonna do that… I draw the line... NOPE! Like, this is like pro tip, and also, like, boundaries. Like, if anyone says, 'I wanna smash a laptop on your breasts,' just say, 'Get out of my house.'ā€

Don’t knock it till you try it, Spidey!

Filmed during the Zoom-filled COVID lockdown era, you can watch his reaction to this particular tweet below at the 4:50 mark.

Flash forward to June 26th, when Garfield was reunited with the creator of the Tweet during a Q&A panel on the second day of the Glastonbury festival at the Pilton Palais Cinema in the UK.

Wearing a baseball cap, Garfield greeted the eager fan who asked him a less-provocative question.

Confirming that he had the fan’s ā€œinformed consent,ā€ the We Live in Time actor explained to the audience:

"I had to read a bunch of tweets about me being kind of like sexually objectified online basically, and one of them, which got me big was, 'I want andrew garfield to smash a laptop on my tits.'"

As the audience laughed with him, Garfield jokingly complimented the fan for their creativity:

"Honestly, one of the more creative sex acts I can imagine. I haven't imagined participating in that. I'm not. I refuse. But happy to meet you, and you're very creative...and sick. You're sick.ā€

Garfield went on to discuss his time filming his top-secret appearance with Tobey Maguire and Tom Holland in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Marvel fans got to witness the epic reunion of the three Spider-Men in the third installment of the MCU’s Spider-Man movie.

The funny face-to-face interaction was captured in a TikTok video.

Jeff Bezos Just Claimed That Trump Is 'More Mature' In His Second Term—And Critics Can't Even

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos sent heads spinning after claiming during a CNBC interview that President Donald Trump is a "more mature, more disciplined version of himself than he was in his first term."

Bezos, discussing a man who has attacked voting rights multiple times, previously suggested he might try to stay in office indefinitely, and continued to make erratic (and ironic) statements about presidential candidates needing cognitive exams, told anchor Andrew Ross Sorkin that Trump is much more mellow and calmer than he was during the first Trump administration.

College Graduation Ceremony Erupts In Boos After 'New AI System' Allegedly Misses 'Hundreds' Of Graduates' Names

Nothing says innovation quite like replacing a person reading names with a machine that allegedly forgets to read the names.

That's what happened during Glendale Community College's commencement ceremony on Friday at Desert Diamond Arena in Arizona, where a "new AI system" reportedly skipped hundreds of students and displayed incorrect names as diplomas were handed out. In one instance, the name Michael D. Gonzales was announced while two women received their diplomas.

Mandy Moore Finally Spoke Out About That 'Toxic Mom Group' Drama—And She Didn't Hold Back

People might hope that when they make a new friend, they'll be friends for life. But the truth is, most friends will only be there for a reason or a season, like going to school or working together.

For former High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale, that season was new motherhood, a time when she was eager to meet women who understood the questions she had about babies and raising them, but also preferably women who understood what it was like trying to juggle being a successful businesswoman with being a mom, too.

JD Vance Just Tried To Give His Historical Hot Take On Pope Leo's Name—And He Missed The Point Entirely

Vice President JD Vance made a point that seemed pretty obvious to everyone except him when he, mentioning Pope Leo XIV, gave his take on the historical context around the tenure of Pope Leo XIII, who led the Catholic Church from 1878 until 1903.

Speaking at a White House briefing focused on the possible impact of the pope’s upcoming encyclical on artificial intelligence, Vance highlighted the symbolism behind Robert Francis Prevost, the first U.S.-born leader of the Roman Catholic Church, choosing the name Leo XIV.
